Warning! Food poisoning hazard! It was S ... L...O...... W and horrible quality service! The food was overcooked and Awful. It was a slow thursday night 8pm - three tables sat in my servers station. (Not too busy). This location needs to step it up with quality and service. I use to be a waitress at one in Silver Spring Maryland. Superior quality and prestine service! I would have been FIRED on the spot with the amount of screw ups my server had done to us! Also the cook staff- franchise owner should be on Gordon Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares for the CRAP they had served me and my date. I NEVER complain on these things but this location made my blood BOIL and pissed me off since I had food poisoning on my birthday the last time I ate here! Heres how bad it was... The waiter was a slug that humorously rushed to serve us bread and drinks immediately and then we had to wait 20+ minutes to flag him down for appetizers. ( he was texting on a phone at the waiter station and not at all attentive to the tables next to us either!). Finally we flagged him down at 25 minutes as he heard HALF of our appetizer order and walked away. Who -does - that??? I felt like I was at McDonalds dealing with that kind of quality employee! He didnt even stay to hear NOR ASK what we wanted for dinner! No dinner specials were mentioned?! He just walked away? Now, 15 min later, He finally serves us ONE of our appetizers and forgot or didnt even care to listen to our other appetizer. He dropped it off at our table and walked away ( STILL didnt stay long enough at the table long enough to ASK or even hear our dinner order!!- I had complained to the manager and she was a clueless moron that wasnt apologetic NOR was our service any better. Nothing was comped NOR did she offer anything to give them another shot for next time!). We had travelled 1 1/2 hours from Atlantic City to eat here. Really??? Come on man!! After TWO HOURS our dinner finally arrived and I ordered the bang bang chicken and shrimp. We missed the movie we wanted to see only to receive crappy food. His burger was well done- dead and awful. I ordered the bang bang chicken and shrimp where The meat and shrimp portions were disappointing and tasted rubbery as if it was overcooked and under a heat lamp for 30+minutes. I had asked the manager to have them make a new one and box it up to go, it was fired out 5 minutes later as if they boxed up the crap they had served me since it was again shriveled up overcooked shrimp that was so small that it looked like it came from a can and the chicken was dry and didnt look any better. WTF??? I ended up throwing the box out in fear of food poisoning!

Some of the worst service I have ever had....twice! The waitresses both times were handling way too many tables. It started with the front counter telling us there was no wait time when we asked, but then we stood and waited for about 15 to 20 min for a table. It took over 25 min to get a glass of water with a lemon. 15 min after we sat down the waitress brought us a bottle of water, no glass or lemon or straw. She came back 10 to 15 min later to take our order. Had to go back to get our glasses and lemon, before she could take our order. When she returned I ordered an appetizer for me and my daughter to split and two meals (quesadilla for my daughter, orange chicken for me). The appetizer came out in a normal time frame. After we finished the appetizer we waited for over a half hour after finishing to finally get our waitresss attention. Another 15 min went by and I had to request our entree to go. Magically it came out 2 min after my request in a box ready to go. The waitress then informed me that the entree takes 20 min and to know that next time if I am in a rush lol. We spent over an hour there and did not even get our food lol. I had a similar situation with my brother about a month ago. The drinks came out and our waitress disappeared for over 20 min. Saw her helping about 10 other tables, but not ours. Taking on way more than she could handle. Very bad service . Regret giving them a second chance really poor experience.

have been to this restaurant many times and for the most part found it very enjoyable. went on sunday february 16th, 2014. first off, the place was packed, we were finally seated by a manager, in a seat that i asked not to be seated in when we first arrived. told Ralph the manager who seated us, he acted very perturbed that i should even ask to be seated anywhere else. thus i remained in that seat.then when my salad arrived i noticed very little chicken and croutons in my $16 salad that ive ordered 20 times before. the waiter had no problem going to the kitchen for more but who should reappear? "Ralph" the manager, very nastily telling me that i got my ounce of chicken and would have to pay for any more, but he would throw me a few croutons. when the waiter came back with the croutons, he apologized and said i definitely did have less chicken than what usually comes with the chicken caeser salad and that the extremely rude and obviously not a people person manager was "Ralph" who normally manages the Edison restaurant, but was filling in at freehold. i dont know or care if "Ralph" is always this way (although i dont know how the edison location would do very much business with a manager with such obvious disdain for the human race). I do know that if "Ralph the manager from edison became the permanent manager at the freehold location, cheescake factory would most certainly lose one long time customer and family, and probably alot more.

Have been going to and enjoying the Cheesecake Factory by Raceway mall for years and use to drive all the way out to Long Island to go there before they came to Jersey. Today was the very first time I had a horrible experience there. Monday thru Friday from 4-6pm a "Happy Hour" is offered....except for holidays during the week as I was told. This is NOT stated anywhere on their posted adds or on their menus. When I spoke to a manager "Mark" he was VERY rude and said that he will honor the offer because he was not in the mood to argue. We were shown to our seats and not even given regular menus. The service was very poor and it took the server over 3 attempts to get the bill at the end of the meal right. Today was a day when "customer service" was severely lacking at the Cheesecake Factory. VERY disappointed with this visit and the "attitude" of the management and the staff. This restaurant will be on the top of my list any longer.Keep the customer happy and they will keep coming back!!! Shame on you "Mark." Your attitude and the way you speak to people is everything when it comes to keeping a customer happy....and you failed.
