@ Gordon Miller... In response to the negative review. The Village Barber Shop is an old fashioned barber shop not a boutique. If you want an haircut that is what you get, an haircut and a damn fine one at that. You get good conversation and that is why most of the clientele return, some for over 50 years. If you are in such a godawful hurry that you cannot slow your overly important life down to "smell the roses" once in awhile then dont bother going there. I have been going to this barber shop nigh on my entire life (63 years old) and have never gotten a bad cut... See the key word is haircut not style. Joe and Ro are to be experienced as well as the eclectic clients that frequent the shop.

Overall bad experience. Nice people, but jeez. Do less talking and more haircutting. Barbers didnt know how to part hair, and outlining around ears/sideburns was uneven. Had to go to a different barber the same day to get it fixed. Also, 21 dollars for a mens haircut is ridiculous, especially for the lack of effort they made to give a quality haircut.

Its a traditional barber shop. Nothing fancy. Talk, good hair cuts, great price for the area. Always Frank Sinatra playing.
