Been looking for a new barbershop for the past 2 years now due to my barber moving to Florida and everywhere I have gone did not have the patience the expertise and overall professional but yet family like deamnor. Walked into here an hour ago off the suggestion from a friend and all I can say is I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles, the ambiance was amazing. Got my haircut a undercut fade comb over look from Mike who was patient and knew exactly what I was looking for and did a phenomenal job. Very clean pain free and overall great experience I would definitely recommend people here and I cant wait to go back in a few weeks. The owner Vito is also a great guy nothing but good vibes all around!!! Thank you Mike and COMB P.s thanks for the comb as well lol

This is an elegant barber shop with a professional staff that will make you feel like this is your barber shop. About a year ago I was looking for a new place to get a good cut, something with style and a little class; I found Comb reading reviews online. The shop has a classy feel to it. The chairs are wide plush antique barber chairs, the walls are nicely decorated, and every magazine imaginable is available to patrons while they wait. Best part is every cut gets a hot lather and razor clean up. Vito the owner is always on point. He never rushes a hair cut whether busy or not. I highly recommend Comb to all my friends and family. There is something special about getting a cut in a classy barber shop.

Although the haircut is always decent, I never leave the place with a smile. There is always so much stress surrounding the experience due to the extremely long wait times to get a haircut. Today was the last time I will attempt to get my hair cut there. After signing in and being told at least a half hour, I went out for 15 minutes and returned to find they somehow passed my name. They then handed be a clipboard with about 15 names on it and told me I had to start over again (hows that for a regular!). The last time I went there, they told me about an hour - I waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Good-bye Comb. You are good, but youre not THAT good.

I have been going to Comb about once a month for a few years now. It is a modern take on a traditional barber shop, with the best of both worlds. The "traditional" part is the friendliness of the owner and barbers and the prices: by far the cheapest cut in town. The modern part is how busy they can get, and is most likely a symtom of their low prices and simple focus on one thing: a good haircut. If you go in on Saturdays, as the other reviewer pointed out, you should expect a long wait. They dont take appointments on Saturdays. I would suggest making an appointment on a weekday. All in all, a great haircut, and a great experience.

Ive been getting my hair cut there for a few months now and couldnt be happier. Barbers are all friendly and courteous and do the the little things like using a straight razor to clean up the edges and the back of your neck. Prices are reasonable for the area. Shop itself is more modern than your average barber shop but still has that manly feel. I will go out of my way in the future to come to Comb for a haircut.

Comb Classic Barbershop is a top notch barber is Essex County. After trying multiple barbers in the area, I stumbled across Comb. As soon as I walked in, I knew right away why everyone told me that they are the best. The scene, the vibe, everything about Comb far exceeds any other barbershop around. Got my cut for the first time here today. Great atmosphere, great staff, I met the owner and he seems really chill. The haircut is probably the best Ive gotten to this date. I highly recommend this barber.
