My experience at the dance studio was an amazing one, as a Latino who is Dominican it is almost seen as a given that when latin music is on, your on the dance floor showing your moves but in my case it was the opposite. A friend told me about the Montville studio and that I should go, while there I worked with several instructors Nikki, Nadia, and Belle and they were all amazing and very patient with me, overly at times hahahaha. Ok wrapping this up I took a few private lesson over 15 and honestly the improvement I experienced was remarkable. The only downside about the studio for me was the location as in I live in manhattan the trip was kinda far, but worth it. If you have a chance check out their salsa, merengue, chacha, and tango classes I took these and more, and now Im not holding up the wall at parties anymore.

They are all awesome Instructors who are , ready to give 110% of their God given Talent and Gifts, which are of so many across the Country and some across the World, Winners of some astounding Championships. They are Awe inspiring, and let us be a part of their accomplishments and teach and take us to our own. Ive always considered myself a Happy, Life Loving individual but knowing them all, and sharing their incredible Talent has brought my Joy to new heights. I am so blessed and can only say that a little thinking "Out of the Box" brought me here and I am forever Grateful!

My wife Barbara and I have been coming to the Montville Studio for about almost two years now. It all started with a fun little Groupon deal as a quick and fun evening for a private lesson. We both have roots in dance and theater from when we were young and it was an exciting method to jump back in time and have fun. As i said were nearly two years in and the studio has experienced us having our second child during that time. The studio environment really has become a method of escape for us from the normal daily rush. The staff is more than just a group of instructors to us, rather we find ourselves as friends. The environment the Studio has created helps with the ease of a better learning environment for us as we get back to our roots of performance!

Fred Astaire Montville is a fantastic studio for any type of person. They cater to first time dancers, long time dancers, and those who just want to try something new. From the first time I walked in everyone that works there is so warm and creates a comfortable open environment that always lifts you up regardless if how your day is going. Whether you are looking to try dance for the first time or become a serious competitor you can accomplish it here. The owners are some of the most warm, hard working and prestigious judges as well. I highly recommend this studio!

Fred Astaire Montville has been my studio of choice for the past three years, and I couldnt be happier. The studio is beautiful and very comfortable, and the teachers fun and excellent to work with. Having a good teacher who is fun, supportive, and knows how to explain well is absolutely critical in enjoying dance. Nadia and Emilia are top notch and I absolutely love both of them. It may sound cliche, but dancing is a passion that you didnt know you had until you try it. I highly recommend this studio to everyone.

The Fred Astaire dance studio in Montville, NJ can be described as one word... AMAZING! Ive always loved watching ballroom dance shows, and now I can actually experience what its like. The minute i stepped into the studio I knew Id love it. The staff is so welcoming, and I can be myself around them. They are like my second family! I dont know where I would be without them, or without the ability to learn how to ballroom dance. Alex, Ty, Belle, Dana, Ilya, and Nadia... you guys are the best!!

A great experience which has brought my fiance and I so much closer together. Our instructor Ty was incredible and did a great job taking a guy with two left feet into a passable dancer. A perfect environment for individuals looking to learn to dance for the first time or the advanced dancer looking for competition. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 would be the pushy sales nature at times. Be ready to have upsell conversations.

After coming to the studio, I feel like I can dance! The staff is so friendly and they make it so easy to learn. Ive always been afraid to dance at parties or weddings but now I have more confidence. I am so glad that I have a new dance family to see a few times a week and of course a fun workout. Im so glad that I decided to dance!

My fiance and I have had such a good time! The entire staff has been friendly and welcoming since the first time we walked through the door. The teachers are all very patient and encouraging (not to mention theyre very good at what they do). Were more than ready to dance the night away at our upcoming wedding!

In my opinion, these people are thieves. They have been taking advantage of my elderly father (who has dementia) for years. They sign him up for lesson packages that they know he will never be able to take. He forgets that he signed up for the package then they sign him up for more. As I said, thieves.

Amazing Place to just let go and have an amazing time!!! The people at the studio make your day stress free when you come out but also they make you feel like you can do anything, so much fun here! Just learned the Salsa/Tango/Merengue/Cha-Cha/Waltz

I came here to take some ballroom classes but found it to be so much more than what I expected it to be. I come here a couple times a week for Lessons , Zumba , and the amazing group classes that they teach on Thursday nights before the parties!
