I cant say enough about the kindness and honesty about this Meineke Center. My car just got a new battery but still could not start even with GEICO-dispatched emergency road service using jumper box and jumper cables, and stuck in the parking lot of hotel. So I have a tow truck to tow my car to this Meineke Center, hoping that it can help me to figure out the problem. The manager, upon hearing my story, first told me that his center may not be able to help me since his center was mainly for brakes, struts, and alignment. I was almost desperate, as I had nowhere to. Upon hearing from me that my car just got a new battery, he opened up the hood of my car, twist one of the terminals of the battery, and went to the driver seat to turn on the key. The car got started! I was elated, insisting that he gave me a number so that I can pay for his help. He insist not taking any money from me, telling me that if he can help, he would always help. The manager was such an honest and capable man. He could have turned me away without even listening to what I had to say. He could have easily taken advantage of me for big bucks. as I told him that I had nowhere to go. Instead, he used his knowledge to help me to get my car started. I really felt thankful to him for his honesty and kindness.

Had the flex pipe dislodge from manifold of car. Brought car in after work without notice and was warmly greeted by "John". I explained problem and he had car brought in to be inspected and I asked how much approximately it would cost. After inspection his quote was the same for this problem. His Technician also found that my serpentine belt (the main belt that drives the engine components) needed replacing. I was shown the worn and cracked belt. I gave them the okay to change that too. While doing this I asked if they could change oil. My car was finished in an hour for a price that was unexpectedly below anything I could imagine. The facility was very neat and organized and very busy as well. Why I was there several customers came in without appointments and John assured them that he would address their needs by looking at their cars asap. Highly professional in every way. Newark gets a bad wrap most of the time but this business is worth going out of your way for.

I do very few reviews, but this place deserves a proper one. Always busy for a reason as its a gem among many mediocre shops in the area. Ive been getting my custom track car alignment done here for years and Chris does an awesome job every time with a review/discussion before and after. Thank you for the great service.

I cannot say enough about the service, friendliness, and fairness of the staff here. I went first for an oil change, and I have been back, as well as my wife, for maintenance multiple times in the last year. Prices are great and staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Saw the reviews so I tried them for an oil change. 9am appt, got there at 8:30am and was in my car on the way home at 9:00. Staff was very friendly. I will definitely use them again.

They say they open at 730 they didnt open the gate till about 750 and did not take my car till about 8 if that is the case say you open at 8

I have an 1:30 appointment over the meineke Website. Show up at 1:00 just to hear that they dont honor Internet appointments. Waste of time.
