Rey Rivera in the tire section hooked me up with a great tire deal. He was also able to put in a price match from Sears. Also saved me money by purchasing the tires and installing them at the same place. On top of that, paterson also has 3.5% sales tax compared to the 7% percent outside. Lastly, i was able to get a $50 rebate on the tires. Thus very happy on the deal i got. Overall, Rey did a great job and was very open and took the time to listen to our concerns/questions/comments. Ask for Rey when you visit and he will definitely get you a good deal. He is also an assistant manager and they should definitely give him a promotion. Overall no real complaints as my tire transaction and installation went great. The only reason why i give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that they cant take a gift card/credit card over the phone and thus had to make two trips to the store (one to buy the tires and then another to install.) Yet, i will definitely work with Rey again in the near future for the tires on my other vehicle. Also, make sure you do all your homework before heading out to any store in regards to work need on your vehicle whether it be installation, purchases, and so forth. Make calls to various stores/retailers and ask questions especially when it comes to parts, prices, repairs, and tires for vehicles. I cant comment on the other services this store provides, but my tire purchase and installation was great with the help of Rey.

Came accross the reviews by looking up their ph # today in order to check availability for my usual oil change.I dont know on the experience on others but mine for sure hasnt been bad at all. Is wait time sometimes unacceptable-Yes( the reason of my 4stars). But for sure its not because the guys dont work. No clue, maybe more personnel is needed. To me it only says that they are busy for a reason, and its not cause of bad service. There is guy by the name Soleman who has been great help of mine every time i get thru the door. Im girl-but that doesnt mean i dont understand vehicles, right ? :) My point is he knows what hes talking about any time he needs to explain whether why fixing something is good, or preventing or even delaying some not as high priority things that can wait a bit. That to me is Good customer service.to show professionalism, care and at the same time save you extra costs and sell the right product of-course. Every time i get asked if i feel any problems with the car-so they can check for me etc.That works for the business and for the client-mutual benefit. I will only suggest readers-if they are aware that repairs, service need to be done, make an appointment-it will save you on time. Anyways, im Big on reading & writing reviews , so apologize if too much info from my side, but just wanted to share my experience. Hope this helps.

Arrived at 11:30 A.M. for a scheduled appointment for Pep Boys Service for a Free Brake Check. When I arrived I told service where my car is at and I gave them my keys. Waited an hour and looked through the mirror and didnt see my car. Then I waited another 30 minutes no sight of my car; but what I didnt understand was that there were multiple garages with no cars inside them. Service techs walking around rather then working on my car. Another hour passes by and my car still isnt being serviced, but other customers are being serviced while Im waiting as five customers come and go having their tires changed, oil being changed, engine being checked and still Im waiting for nearly two hours at this point. Finally at 2 P.M. my car is being serviced a service tech comes out lifts my car then takes out a flash light flashes here and there and then walks away. I wait 20 minutes until I get the results of a check that lasted a minute and a half. Its 2:20 P.M. and they tell me "Your breaks are fine" "Wait a bit until we bring down your car" I waited another 10 minutes watching as the service techs are messing around eating while Im here 3 hours still waiting. Left at 2:30 P.M. with no paper work of servicing being done. 3 Hours for a Free Brake Check. 3 HOURS!!!!! Worst Customer Service Ive ever encountered!!

If anybody wants their vehicle to have more problems after it leaves the shop and have crappy customer service, then this is the place for you. I brought my pick-up truck to get new tires installed not even a week ago and I drove out of the shop with an electrical problem. Explain to me how that happens! Not even 2 minutes driving off their lot that I noticed the problem and when I called them back about it they told me to come back the next morning. So the next morning I get to this pep boys only to be told that they didnt have a technician on site. What a load of crap!! So I decide to bring my truck to the dealer and they confirmed that someone was tampering with my tow-hitch wiring harness. When I brought it to pep boys attention, the manager there completely ignored me. How about that! Not only was this manager the worst at trying to resolve my issue but he had no problem covering up crooks and sneaks who work for him. BOTTOM LINE - they just want your money and they will tamper with your car so that you could bring it back to them to fix. So if I were you, Id go somewhere else.

WORST PEPBOYS EVER! DONT USE THEM. I took my car here to get some new tires. After removing the tire all of sudden my Tire pressure monitor wasnt working so they changed it too. I figured when they were removing the tire they damaged it because it was fine when I drove the car in ! When i got my car back the TPS light was on and they told me it would go off after a while. I didnt think this was right but I believed the guy at the counter. Days later the light was still on . I took my car to the dealer ..they charged me 350.00 to fix what pepboys did. I took my dealer bill and the broken part they installed to pepboys to talk to the manager and get a refund for the part THEY installed ,THEY could not calibrate, and never worked! They said they wont give me a refund. they said the part they installed was not what I brought to them! WHAT, WHAT! It was the only TPS in my car that wasnt installed factory , the only one they touched! Screaming, I left to store and put a stop on the payment! They really dont know what they are talking about or doing and i will never take my car there again!

Been overcharged for wheel baring change and alignment. When I drove the car steering was better but not perfect after 2 month when the guarantee expired my alignment was almost way it was before the repair and wheel bearings need to be changed again . I was driving very carefully so in my opinion this guys are not good mechanics and using corp name to make money. Also sales guy told me the total price. When I came to pay I noticed the price on receipt raised 50 $ after short conversation he made new receipt. I am completely not satisfied by service and price. Never going there again because when they talk they sound very professional but job is done on a mature level. Feel like when they get trained they are training not mechanic skills but sales skills
