The attitude of the manager as well as reception is becoming very rude and disrespectful. I am going to this place for more than one year. When I registered for hydro message when manager scheduled it, he did not tell me which bed number I should go. From reception we can not see beds are free or not. when I asked may I know which bed number, his response is "which ever bed is free" I did not expect this kind of answer from the manager itself. This kind of rude and disrespectful attitude is unacceptable. When manager tself is like this, then you can imagine how things will be there. The staff who are working for very long becoming very rude and disrespectful. they do not even wish and pretend like they are very busy. This afternoon when I was leaving, I forgot to take my keys from the key hanger board. when I walked back, he was shouting, thats bad. He should pay attention to who is entering the building and who is leaving. If I am entering the building he should have wished me(I should have told I forgot my keys, he is not even looking instead he is playing on phone), when I am leaving he should have wished me. Nothing happened. Instead I got a shout. Highly unacceptable attitude. Most of them are busy on their phones chatting and when more then 3 are present they keep busy chatting and gossiping there. New staff pay attention and when they are there for long time they are becoming very rude, careless and disrespectful.

Originally told they were opening Christmas, then 1/1, then 1/9, then 1/15, then late January, then early February, then late February, then early March, then late March, then early April, now late April. In summary: originally told they were opening 12/25/14 and it is now 4/2/15 and they are not opened and still do not have an opening date established. That is not acceptable. If they had told everyone right off the bat they were opening June 1st (as an example) that would have been fine. But this is ridiculous. From the general consensus we all will go there because theres nothing better but if there was any other way to go to a different gym we would. They really blew it.

Stay away from this Planet Fitness. As others mentioned, the people here are completely incompetent and they dont care. They messed up my billing multiple times resulting in funds not being removed. Every person I talked to told me something different. I paid a large chunk of it just to be told I owed more. They also decided not to reinstate my account and continued charging me. After an unresolved complaint to the BBB they just wanted to me pay everything and a termination fee. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. The gym itself is decent, but half the time people dont clean machines.

I live in Hamilton and was a member of Princeton Fitness and Wellness at Plainsboro before joining Planet Fitness at Plainsboro. I joined in mid December and was told the gym would be open mid January. I have been forced to drive almost a hour to North Brunswick location fightin route 1 traffic and rt 130 traffic to go to the gym for over 5 months. You shouldnt of lied to me when I signed up, i feel betrayed. Its not like you ran into inspection or permit issues with the township either, I know people with the township. I could of stayed a member of my old gym and joined when you opened.

Good Gym; Watch Sign-up Date. If you sign-up between the 11th-16th of any month you will be charged the $29 sign-up fee plus the first month of $10. This is contrary to what the staff told me at sign-up. Sign up after the 16th until the 10th of the month and you basically get a month free. Dont get suckered by staff incorrectly stating terms! $10 is no big deal, but in the end management did nothing to correct their misguided information stated to me. Disappointing. As for the gym itself, it is very well designed and will suffice for all of your workout needs!

i have been in the planet fitness for a week and i dont like the customer service over there..i was trying to cancel the service and the agent was saying i had to come in person to cancel the service and when i went to the office he said i had to pay 60 dollars for cancellation saying that my account was over due...i havent used the service from the past 2 months but i have to pay...u guys dont care...u just keep on billing me again and agian and ...y should i pay u for the service which i dont get.....this sucks..i hope no one goes there

It is simply a gym. I like that there is enough equipment to support busy hours. I am not a fan of the staff, they generally keep the place clean but thats about it and as much as I appreciate that, it would be nice if they were a bit more polite. They offer free training on certain hours but if they see someone improperly using the equipment, they wont say anything. I believe that as a trainer you should at least advise people even those who dont enroll in the classes. I think that would make for a better customer experience.

I have registered and didnt go at all. After two months I been to them and noticed that I had to pay 40$ which I never used the service. I told them to cancel and somebody said, I am cancelling it and pay $40. I paid the amount and went back home. After two months I been to check whether they cancelled my service or not. That was a shocking news, they told me I had to pay $60 for cancellation. I didnt understand how their billing system works but it sucks.

If you have a problem with billing and overcharging dont be surprised and if by any chance you manage to resolve it, please tell us how. The front desk is staffed with grumpy temps, the Manager is never in when you ask for him and never calls back. They are not frauds just plain incompetent and rude on top of it. The gyms not bad though, the staff however are sad! Spend a bit more and go elsewhere.

So... nobody actually had anything bad to say about the gym? Thought so. Its a great location, great space, every machine is separated nicely creating an easy flow for you to get around. It was worth the wait for it to open (Cause i can just go to another location when ever anyway lol). Other than that, its a great location to to go to. Best layout Ive seen so far hands down.

Ive been a long-term member of two other franchise gyms and found I like Planet Fitness the best. Each may have some good points, but over all this facility is clean, more machines are in service at one time, hours are great (24 hours)... Im in very early (04:00 weekdays ) and always see staff cleaning all machines and vacuuming floors... and cheaper than both gyms!

Horrrible. Signed up in December........ STILL NOT OPEN. RIDICULOUS. My whole company is considering canceling (20 people). Poor way of stringing people along. How about upgrading the people that already signed up to the higher membership at no additional cost?? It would be a good gesture.

The Planet Fitness address my needs in terms of a good place to workout. Good equipments, clean environment. Staff: depending on the time, there are some that are friendly and others that arent (but never rude or things like that).
