I was a member of this gym since it opened about 4-5 years ago. This past summer, before departing for my last year of college in another state, I suspended my account – put it “on hold” – as I had done once before. The gym continued to charge me for the entire time that I was out of state, and when I contacted the manager to rectify this, she refused, even though the gym’s records confirmed that I had not been there for the entire academic year, citing a policy change with the new management. She put me down for a couple of free months, and activated them before I was even home from college so I wasn’t even able to use them until the last few weeks. This gym has been going downhill within the past few years as the equipment ages (and many pieces are, in my opinion, not well-maintained). I am taking my business elsewhere and would encourage others to do the same – the manager here is completely unreasonable.

Love at 2nd sight! I live in the area and I was looking for a gym that is close enough to my home to make it worth going to. I pass this gym all the time and I have even went in. So when I saw a Groupon I seized the opportunity to use the facility and really make an assessment of it. It was really the simple things I liked that made all the difference. The machines have counters, that is different. The machines also have connectors for my older model IPOD, thats cool! The locker room is clean and spacious, and there is a sauna. The machines have instructions on them. That sounds unimportant but who the hell wants to ask people around them every 5 minutes how to operate the equipment. And finally, I found the front desk always friendly and helpful. I think I just may sign on the dotted line.

I live within a mile of the gym which is very convenient for me. I use to go to that location when it was NYSC. The times were fantastic as it closed at 11p since I work in Manhattan and get home late. I had suggested a few times upon calling or when I stop in that they should have the gym close at 11p which in my opinion would bring in more members especially for those who have odd and long working hours and get home late. Unfortunately, this is the only thing that is preventing me from joining as a member of the gym because of the closing hours. I do not want to join a gym if I barely make it there in time before you close and rush through my work out. Please strongly consider extending the closing hours to 11p at least from Monday-Thursday to allow more work out times. Thank you

very good gym. I love the workers and the shorter fatter boss is the best..i believe his name is Robert. The gym is very nice, it has alot of great equipment and also has doubles of almost every weight. it has a tiny boxing area and showers and sauna. But it is missing alot of ab machines and also the self body workout is lacking in this gym...if u understand what i mean. Other then that great gym and delicious protien shakes :)

This is great gym. Friendly staff, clean gym. However cardios dont function sometimes like touch screen dont work all the time. I unplug and plug connector and it starts working. I have one suggestion for this gym. If gym is open 24 hours a day that would be great. It will be most convenience and will make customer happy too. I can make my friends join club too. Its convenience for people who work late and still want to workout.

This gym is absolutely horrible! Not only are half the cardio machines not working, most of them do not have a cup holder or charger. Also, one time I tried to freeze a month, they tell told me it was okay at the front desk and later on they told me we can not cancel it unless you have military leave or sick leave. They also never have fitness classes because they are always cancelled. DONT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!!

Very friendly staff! Love that they added the protein shake bar, however this gym is starting to get way overcrowded at night and you have to wait to use machine. They should really consider expanding the gym and keeping up with the maintenance of the machines. If they got rid of the "theater room" where they so call play movies that would be a huge help!

Club Metros Manager Joe is the most discourteous person I have ever encountered. They were happy to process my membership but was very rude and obnoxious when i called to cancel my membership. Joe refused to give me a credit even they deducted monthly fees when I cancelled the membership. The gym itself was beautiful but the Manager Joe is a PIG!!!!

Nice facility but often over crowded since another local gym closed. Shake bar is convienent and delicious but I ask for and extra scoop of protein which is an upcharge and only 2/3s of the shake fits in a cup, so Im only getting 2/3s of the protein Im paying for. They need larger cups instead of handing out the rest of my shake as samples.

The place has almost all the weights & machines I would need as a beginner. It also has a theater workout room where they change between movies and Television shows. While I have never felt that I am missing equipment, it is a smaller place than something like LA Fitness. It has clean shower rooms & plenty of locker space.

Toine is an awesome Zumba instructor: moves to the beat and has the right attitude to motivate someone to exercise. The people at the desk are also friendly; the shakes are good as well. Just a little crowded at times, but besides that, I have a good time here.

Second gym I started going to and its got really friendly staff. They are stocked with the right amenities in the locker room and they know how to take care of the customers.

Nice facility, nice layout, New but different easy to use machines and good selection of equipment. Work out free twice before being approached on membership.

I dont like this place. Even after the year if you want cancel the membership unnecessary they are charging lots of money. So be careful all members
