I joined the Gym one year ago, and only went there once! (the day after I signed for 1 year). Due to heavy military training and a new job I wasnt able to enjoy my membership. I tried to cancel a month after I signed, but it was impossible to do. The manager and some people I spoke to demanded copy of my orders, but i wasnt going over seas. all I had was my drill schedule and my AT(annual training orders). Anyways I let that go, I was too busy with my new job and the ARMY training. Twice I incur in late fees because I didnt have enough money and another time I just forgot, after all I had only been there once!. So today (08/16/2014) I went there to cancel in person, (I tried over the phone 2 months ago but they woulnt let me), and to my surprise I was late one day on my "15 day cancel window" so you get to charge me one more time for one more month for a service I only use once!. I am very disappointed with the way Fitness factory handled the situation and I will make sure review sites and people I know hear my story and think twice about joining fitness factory on a year contract! I should be able to cancel when i want and whenever i want to do so, and they should offer a cancelation fee instead of MAKING people pay for a service they dont use for a year!!! THAT IS RIDICULOUS!! Not only that! I had Valid excuses I did not make up anything!! This is just UNACCEPTABLE!! MONEY HUNGRY PLACE!! DO NOT JOIN UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY MONTHLY AND WILL BE REALLY USING THIS! THEY WILL NOT CANCEL MEMBERSHIP NO MATTER WHAT!!!

I really enjoyed going to Fitness Factory for many years. One of the main things that brought me there was the new machines and more importantly, the cleanliness. The club offered so many classes and a wide variety of resources for every type of fitness need. I like the fact that many go in and do their own routine, and its a very nonjudgmental atmosphere. More recently I have not been as satisfied. I feel like there are many machines and equipment either out of order or unavailable (mats, kettleballs, even paper towels). The cleanliness of the club has declined very much. The floors are dirty, especially when I sit to stretch and do floor exercises. Im very disappointed in the drop of X-factor classes and trainers available. I have met with the new training company that has taken over, but their prices are extremely high, and for me personally, not affordable. I know recently more people have joined for the new year and the merge of the members from another gym closing. Im hopeful that the quality of the environment improves to the quality that has been for years prior.

Money hungry muscle head gym.....Gym??? If you like to "lift things up and put them down" this is your gym. Peolple grunts every 2 seconds while lifting the weights (yes is this kind of gym) then drop them heavily in a roar...Very pathetic... The stuff is rude, inappropiate, untrained and violent if you are not a bodybuilder or a woman or if your english is not good. Overpriced for what they offer and the lack of humanity they carry themselves with. If you want to cancel your contract (yes they have contracts) they will show up with hiden fees that will amount to many months of pay, and if you refuse, they will take you to collections. and trust me, this people wil take you down for 50 bucks.. THEY ARE THE SCUM OF NJ

Can i give negative stars? After they agreed to cancel the membership in September, not only did they continue to bill me every month BUT, on some months they billed me 2 times ! As if that wasnt enough... Then out of the blue I get a call from a collection agency trying to collect their debt! Hey fitness factory... Does the word fraud mean anything to you?? Ill be reporting you to the better business Bureau, and Ill make sure to tell all my friends about your fraudulent nature.

I would like to say this is a very nice gym, it is very clean and well kept. There is such a huge variety of equipment within the gym. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and always have a smile on their face. I signed up for the gym 3 months ago and have been absolutely addicted.

The company makes you pay for their mistakes on the financial end. I canceled and now they can not find my cancelation form and refuse to return my money and sending me to collections for their mistake. WIll never do business with them again.

4 out of 5 stars. Most evenings this gym is packed since they took the overflow from World Gym. Too many kids standing around getting in the way. Please get more equipment and more weights. Overall a pretty decent place to train.

A nice wide selection of machines to choose from and a nice spot if youre into Crossfit. Nice staff. The gym also offers a place for kids to run around in as well.
