Hands down THE BEST of the Best. This Salon has been in Somerville the longest, formerly Lilis - both owned by the same wonderful and talented family. Ive been going to Jenny and Lili for almost 14 years and I wouldnt stray. I receive compliments on my hair practically everywhere I go, its always healthy and I wouldnt be happier anywhere else. Amazing staff, trained and educated - always up to date with latest trends and best products on the market _ always! Membership plan options available, late nights to accommodate your schedule and open/honest feedback always. I travel 45 minutes to an hour each time I need to get my hair done and its WELL worth it! I highly recommend and suggest Illustrated Beauty, Jenny and her staff!!!!!

For my prom, I did the $85 makeup/updo package by Jenny. She was very sweet and did an AMAZING job! My hair looked exactly like the picture I wanted and stayed in tact the whole night. My makeup was amazing as well. A great experience for a great price!

I went there for a man short hair cut and the cut was not what I ask for. also the back is not straight. I asked for a V shape on the back and did not get that at all. I will not return to that salon.
