I would give negative stars if I could. I started my two kids in building blocks (one is about to be 2 and the other about to be 1). On a Monday, first day was fine. By Tuesday when I went to pick my 2 year old up and I go in his room & I look around and every child had a runny nose. Boogy galore, all over every kids face. And later when I come home of course my son is now sick. Obviously because of the poor cleanliness they have. On Friday (may I mind you the children reside with me so that means to call mom of an incident happens) they purposely called dad and said my child was bit. Which I know some times just happens I didnt think too deep in it. But it was strange on why they did not contact me to let me know. When the day before they called me to tell me one of my kids ran out of diapers but did not call me when my child was bit. And that incident happened at 10:15 and dad was called right away at 10:15. Now Monday comes around and they called me at work to tell me my child was bit AGAIN! 2 times in two days. And the teacher told me that happens a lot, so when I asked if other children was getting bit she said "no not really". So I left work early to pick up my kids because that is just ridiculous. When I got there my child was sitting in front of the door by himself as if he just got yelled at and as soon as he seen me he had a look of relieve and stretched his arms for me to pick him up. As a mother that broke my heart because anyone who knows my child knows he is the most joyful kid and for him to just sit by himself with such a sad look on his face was just so sad I cried on the way home. Also this incident happend at 11:30 I didnt get a call to almost 2:00. But the other time they called dad within minutes. And the child who bit my kid, broke skin through my childs shirt because I had to pull up the sleeve to see it. And when I asked for the shirt he was wearing when I dropped him off they said they changed it because he got sauce on it from lunch & they "could not find the shirt" so Im assuming it had blood on it and they disposed of it. I now removed both of my children from building blocks and I WILL NOT EVER recomend them to ANYONE EVER. Its terrible. Not to mention they lost about two of my kids bottles and when I asked for his fitted sheet they put it in a whole different kids backpack. Even though I lable everything I send both of my kids with. They are uncoordinated. And both of the incident stories both sounded down right silly, especially of your getting paid to watch these kids neither of these incedents shouldnt have even occurred. Do not send your kids to building blocks they are dirty and terrible. Im saddend that my kid had to be the one to show what kind of service building blocks provides but I am writing this so it wont happen to another kid.

If I could give building blocks ten stars I would both my children have been their since they were 6 weeks old my daughter Now 7 and my son 3..The staff and Owner of the school are so helpful and great to my kids...My daughter loves it shes been their since a baby and now is attending their summer camp program which is great because me and my husband both work full time my daughter has ice cream day they play in the water sprinkler take nature walks make crafts everyday she comes home with a story about something fun that she has done...On the weekends she asks me to go to camp thats how much fun she has...Now my son he is 3 and for how young he is I am so shocked how much he is learning colors shapes numbers songs even some Spanish again he also has ice cream day and water play day and for being three he is so excited to go to school Both my children have grown up so much and I thank building blocks for helping me basically raise and teach my children while I couldnt be their and had to Work..the staff is great everyone is always happy and so helpful...the school is very clean I feel safe and good inside knowing when Im working all day their at a safe and happy environment and everytime I pick them up their so happy and already talking about what their going to do the next day with their teacher...if your looking for a great family oriented school I recommend 10***** to Building Blocks Learning Center the Owner and employees are great they feel more like Family.

In response to the review posted this is a disgruntled parent that we had an issue with. We have no issues with the State Licensing and this can be checked with them. We are always in compliance with all state regulations. We have learned over the years that, as hard as we try, we can not please everyone. Other childcare facilities can tell you if a parent leaves you on bad terms whether it is related to money or behavior, they will post negative reviews to try to damage the center. We strive to provide the best care and welcome everyone.

The next best thing to staying home with your kids yourself. I put all my boys in at a very early age. The care and love they got, was second to none. I had some special requests, such as being a breastfeeding mom and they were able to handle that with no problem. There is also open communication, which as a mom who is away from her kids during the day, is super important. No request was too big. Building Blocks is my kids second family.

I would give a 0. I called this morning and talked to Erica the office manager, and asked her if there were any openings, she basically stated NO. she did not even offered a waiting list option, she was not friendly at all. Im glad this happened now and not after enrollment which of course i wont do it. also the premises outside the building needs cleaning and maintenance it looks very dirty.

I loved my experience at Building Blocks. They structure and environment are so good, and my children absolutely loved their teachers. I think one of the biggest differences I saw was in the manners that my daughters learned. Their teachers really instilled the value of good manners, and to be able to do so at such a young age is so important.

I trust Building Blocks Learning Center to take care of the most important thing in my life, my little girl, and they never fail to disappoint. I am always able to communicate with them at any point of the day just to check up, and know that everything is going great. I could not be happier with this center, and I recommend to all.

The Learning Center here was very helpful! They were very effective in teaching my son how to write and count certain numbers. Their techniques were awesome, and it really shows. At 3 years old, Im proud to say that he can write his first name and count in Spanish up to ten, and also count backwards from ten in English.
