Plinton Curry Funeral Home did a wonderful job laying our father to rest. The undertaker Mr. Curry promised that our father would look like himself and he kept his promise. We felt like we were working with family instead of a funeral home because thats how comfortable they made us feel. Initially, we were stressed because we didnt know how we were going to pay for the services but they assured us that it wasnt all about the money but about the dignity of our father. The pastor gave a powerful sermon, the soloist had a soulful and beautiful voice and the ushers were very helpful and respectful. Family and friends were impressed with the services and commented on how everything went smoothly. We were also impressed how we were able to mourn and comfort one another instead of stressing about the order of service because the funeral home handled everything. Plinton Curry Funeral Home was recommended by a family member who used their services and remembered a feeling of dignity and respect. Once meeting with Mr. Curry we immediately knew this was the best decision for our family. We would highly recommend their services to anyone who looses a family member.

Horrible limo drivers. They were very rude, right in the cemetery, no less. I was pulling out of my parking space (directly after the ceremony at the grave site where they just said to the family that they hoped the family were satisfied with their services). As I was pulling out of my parking space to follow the other cars ahead of me, the limo driver who was behind me aggessively came towards my car and prevented me from fully pulling out of my space. My car was almost all the way out of my space but the limo driver would have rather hit my car rather than be courteous. Then when I get to the facility where the repast was, and as I was approaching the entrance the same limo driver pulls out of the exit in front of me again causing me to stop short as not to get hit again. I would never recommend this funeral home strictly based on the aggressiveness of how the limo drivers drive on the road.

If I could give a zero, I would. I came from Maryland to NJ for one of my childhood best friend husband funeral. Others came from South Carolina, NY, and Philadelphia. The women who had on the large church hats were more interested in styling,mugging pretty women , than directing. After the funeral we all were not given instructions , funeral placards to place in our cars , directions to the graveyard or the address to the graveyard !! The limo and hearst took off, leaving us all behind, to rely on Google, some had manage to get to the gravesite, others like her SISTERS were lost and gave up, ..not having the opportunity to be with their sister who is the WIDOW!! Maybe we had the untrained trainees , who needed to learn funeral directing 101!

Our family has utilized Plinton Curry Funeral Home on the passing of most of our loved ones...I wish we could have been acquainted with them a lot sooner. Ron Curry and his staff have the highest standards not just in the technical planning of a funeral, but their compassion as they work with you step by step to realize a dignified homegoing is truly a great comfort. They try to anticipate wants and needs on the behalf of the bereaved to further lighten their load....In short, they are a great blessing
