As far as the office setting and there manners. Active was proffessional. But the site i was sent to for the month i did straight without complaining to anyone was racist, disrespectful, and they favor Hispanics and if you speak good English and grew up in ny and have a hs diploma its a problem. To be educated is an issue because you threaten there position especially if you can do the job better than ur own supervisor and ur communication skills are fabulous is a problem they get very threaten by anyone smarter then them. The ppl that work there are mostly immigrants and ppl that dont understand english. These ppl should reported. I reported my issue and nothing was done. So i truly believe that Bagels and Active cover for each other. So bottom line my experience was horrible. I was never so embarrassed of being a native Newyorker! Like i was worker for Just Bagels. The bosses were great but the employees and supervisor have love childs and love affairs. This place is undercover sex capade! I want no part in this company. And i hope and pray that someone reports them and it sticks!

This is a SCAM! This place is not legitimate they convince you that you are hired, take down your social security and birth certificate, make you watch employment videos like its a real orientation, make you waste bus fare and time going up there dozens of time only to constantly deny you hours of employment. They just use your information to get grants funding their pockets instead of actually helping people with employment. The only people I know of who have success with this place for employment are Hispanic individuals. They are highly discriminatory and unprofessional i was recommended with over 40+ individuals from a job center and they only called back the Hispanic individuals for hours and just took down the rest of our information and yet never gave us hours or a set schedule.

When going the process of registering I felt like I was at a crowded doctors office. When I got there it took two day too register and then they told me to come back the next day to watch a video about factory work, on one of the mandatory factory work that you have to work inorder for them to get you some where that a little more security in a job. This was the worst experince I have ever had in a staffing agencies and I did give them a chance just to see if it would improve but it didnt so I moved on. Just wanted to get that out there for anyone thinking about going here so you can get a picture of what I am talking about.I would not reccommend this site go to another site.

Muy muy muy mala agencia... Me dieron un trabajo una vez y mi medico me llamo q tenia q ir ablar con el y llame a la agencia para escusarme y me dijo q si yo faltaba al trabajo nunca mas me iban AYUDAR A BUSCAR TRABAJO... pienso q esta mal pq ello deberian conprender q cuando ay q ir a su MEDICO lo tiene q hacer

Active staffing has been helpful assigning me to different jobs however alot of work assignments at the bakery sites like Zaro and Just Bagels are very racist towards Black people the head field manager Marie favors Latino people they wrote me up for not understanding Spanish from a site manager who doesnt speak English overall I felt highly disrespected by management and I felt definite racial discrimination in the Bronx office against Black People coming from the head manager Marie or Maria the Latino community definitely gets preference in employment assignments over the Black community in the Bronx site

Because I have received a permit job active staffing took Me out of there system which I find very informal when there jobs are only temporary also they had sent me to work in Yonkers and instead of calling and letting you know that they are only taking a certain amount of people they dont so u waste your money and time getting there just to get sent back home not organized whats so ever

If there was a negitive 5 star rating, Id give it that instead of a 1 star thats how much i dislike this agency. The people ask you the same damn questions and will deny you any employment depending on what you say. I spent money going over here. And in the end they deny any emploment because my resume didnt really match overall what i said.

I keep coming to get a job but the problem is that I wasting money in train fare to just tell me at the end "Sorry primo no hay trabajo" Nonetheless, I always wonder why if theres no jobs why the hell do they keep registering people? But besides that its a very professional establishment.

There is not organization at all, they send their friends or people that they know first. Keeping people for longs period of time in a waiting seccion. Findind a job might be a bit harder but they should be more helpfull, more fair & more efficient.

Lucky I gave them a star. That Spanish guy I forgot his name the only Spanish guy there aka manager is so rude and disrespectful! Very racist and picky! I advice you dont go here if your serious about employment. Disgusting staff.
