I went in for brakes repairs (I heard a broken sound and metal-on-metal sound when I brake for the last two days - Im cautious, so I went directly to the closest shop as soon as I could). They changed the back brakes and said that the front ones dont need replacement. I still hear the metal-on-metal and the broken sounds in front left side the second day. I guess they didnt check the front brakes (or they checked only the right one, while the left one is broken) or they didnt drive/test the car at all after replacing the back brakes. Pros: - they took the car right away without a scheduled reservation, - they have a BBB score of A and no complaints, - I guess the back brakes are great now and they needed to be replaced. Cons: - they should check all brakes, - last, but not least, I got a coupon from their website when I went to pick up the car in the evening for 10% discount for labor (basic coupon with no instructions on it just 10% off labor), but the guy wouldnt accept it (he said we should bring it in when we leave the car. I thought they already changed the labor or something, but he made the paperwork and charged my credit card in front of me). I find that unfair and they should be more careful and specify this as an online policy. Im still giving them 4 stars out of five because they were really polite yesterday and I also think they were fair with their work ($143 parts and $147 labor, which seems to be norm for changing brakes per axle for Toyota Camry (checked online on Google)). Even if they didnt catch the problem with the front brakes, I will use their services again (they seem to the best in my area).

In a world full of cynical people, it has become increasingly challenging to find people you can feel a trustworthy rapport with. My experiences have led me to be very apprehensive of anything a mechanic says, simply because we do not know whos interest is really being protected. I can say that when I first took my vehicle to Ron and his team a couple of years back, they have since re-instilled my belief that there are good operating mechanics outside of a dealerships watchful eye. They were able to repair my transmission and many other routine repairs. To this day I currently still take my vehicle here. The prices are reasonable, but the craftsmanship is excellent. Every job is complete without needing to revisit. He is a family man as well as a businessman and understands how to get the job done right. Thanks Mighty Discount Automotive for making my life a little bit easier.

Ive been using these guys for about 6 years doing my annual diesel inspection because they are the only shop nearby that works on diesels and is ford certified. I had a 6 yr/100k mile warranty that is now up and every time Ive called for an appt ive never had a problem and sometimes even calling the same day they are able to fit me in. Since my warranty is up they have done some work on my 2011 f250 which they did a great job unlike the Ford dealerships which ive had nightmares at. These guys get the job done in a timely manner. I take pride in my vehicles and hate leaving them at shops but I trust these guys and Ron Sr is always a pleasure to talk to. I will be taking my wifes car there in the future.

I brought my car to these guys last week with a major problem. These guys pinpointed this issur right away and a week later I got my car back inthe same condition as when I bought it. Although it costed me a hefty amount, they did take in consideration my limited funds and worked their magic around that. They not only fixed this issue but also went above and beyond in fixing other issues that the car was having at no additional cost. 5.0 star rating 11/3/2016 This is one of the last honest mechanics on Long Island. I grew up around this scene because my dad owned a shop, and I trust Ron as much as I would trust my own family. My 2010 Hyundai Elantra had 180,000 miles and the engine and transmission went. Time for a new car? No, because Ron found an engine and transmission for me with only 22,000 miles on it. As a recently divorced, single girl, this was heaven sent because I avoided a new car. My Hyundai is better than ever and will be around for another 180,000 miles. Workmanship is amazing, honesty is even better!

Dont go this place. The only thing they want is stealing your money. Cam there for the inspection and told me at the very last moment that my window is too dark. They state law says 30% of tint is fine which mine is 30% and never fail the inspection over 6years. They said you cannot get tinted and will charge $200 to take the tint off.

Took my car their for a simple job and came out with nothing but trouble. The car is now louder then ever, fumes are entering the cabing of the car and my kids are now getting sick from. When I spend money I look for results not more issues then I came in with in
