DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! I WAS a gorgeous shade of blonde, went in for a very common balayage, mind you with several pics of what I wanted, staying my blonde with a grungy root that didnt have demarcation, simple right? One would think since I was already a perfect blonde shade, NOT SO, ASHLEY destroyed my color. I was at the salon for 4 hours, only to walk out in tears. I asked all the right questions before she touched my head, for example most important one, "ASHLEY, worst case, if I dont like what we do, can I return to my color with no problems?" Her reply, "YES, no problem, we will just..." turns out ASHLEY was wrong and obviously inexperienced, otherwise she would have known, that I would have to compromise the integrity of my once healthy hair. My 4 hour day turned into a 9 hour hair ordeal, causing me to go to another salon right after I left this one. The "manager" Cathy called me, and eventually refunded me, but prior to that she hung up on me and was beyond unprofessional. I was told that I should be grateful because she was inconvenienced having to try and call other colorists to fix my hair because ASHLEY couldnt stay to do it. Needless to say, Cathy couldnt find ONE colorists in this 3 1/2 star salon to stay and color correct my hair (no shocker 3 1/2 stars not so great) but had no problem having the girl ring me up and charge me a hefty lesson, despite knowing I was miserable with the work ASHLEY did. I URGE you, DO NOT GO HERE. There is a reason its 3 1/2 stars, as you read the rave reviews and want to believe them, keep scrolling and read the ones that contributed to their overall rating. I listened to a friend, who referred me to ASHLEY and never thought to check YELP. So, what I am imparting to you? Plenty of great salons, this isnt one of them. Lastly, I had to add that since I wrote this on YELP this morning and have since received a passive aggressive phone call from Cathy regarding my "not getting refund" which ended in her defamatory remarks calling me a "scammer and horrible mother" because I brought my 3 y.o. daughter to hair appointment, which turned into 4 hours instead of 2 as a result of their inexperience. I paid over $190.00, and even being beyond unhappy, tipped all because that is a testament to who I am. This salon will be reported to BBB and I will find out who the owner of this salon is, because he or she would want to know who they have potentially destroying their business. I had to cut 3 inches off my hair and have been through more than I have time to articulate, or you care to read! Bottom line is, if you want a salon with professionals, who no matter what, will do their best to make you leave happy, keep looking. CATHY, you have no business dealing with the public and should be terminated immediately.

MISREPRESENTED PRICING. Unprofrssional owner. Be aware that if you are budgeting your visit like my daughter did, a $30 toner is NOT included in the price as is STATED ON THEIR WEBSITE. After questioning the owner (after we already paid and realized the error) he stated that they "play" with pricing and "fit" prices in. This was not the case as when i asked for the bill to be broken down for me, a $30 toner charge was included. On the website it DOES say that additional charges will be incurred for long hair. The stylist DID tell my daughter that it would cost an additional $22 for lighteners. Fine. She agreed AFTER she was told there would be an additional change. When I mentioned that on their website it CLEARLY states "includes finishing toner" he then told me that I should have asked about additional charges! Really? He was telling me that I should have asked about a policy on his own website. He then proceeded to ask me exactly what the website said, suggesting to me that he has no idea what is on his own website. As a small business owner myself, if its on my website, I must stand behind it. However this post i am confident the website will be changed or hopefully, customers will be informed of an additional charge for a toner. When he asked me what i wanted him to do, I told him the right thing to do would be to issue a CREDIT ( I didnt even want a refund) for future services because it was their error. This man refused to accept responsibility and continued talking in circles. Very unfortunate because my daughter works a part time job and used her own money only to be overcharged. Not to mention, she really liked her stylist, Sam. At the conclusion of our conversation, he then dared me to take him to court. Classy.

I get my hair done by Ashley who is so insanely talented. I just let her have free reign with my hair. I told her I wanted a balayage but nothing too blonde but that she could use her own judgement and it came out so beautiful. She gave me exactly what I needed and now I am booking my second session BUT I didnt need another session for 6 months! I still dont even really need it because the color looks gorgeous still but I couldnt wait to go back in and let her do more. I praise this salon to everyone I know. I see other artists work and I constantly see flaws that I dont see in the work done by any of the Off 7th staff. You may be there for a while but please keep in mind they take their time because they are very in tune with their work and pay a lot of attention to detail. You cant go somewhere expecting the world but not willing to wait for it to happen. They are fresh and modern and in my opinion the top salon on Long Island and I am a beauty fanatic. I follow many other salons, some that Ive been too as well; and Ive never left a salon feeling so beautiful. Thank you so much Ashley!

I have been a regular customer here for well over 2 years. My best friend who normally sees Brianna went to see Ashley who I normally see and did recommend to her. She wasnt taken for her appointment until about 45 minutes after the scheduled time. She was in the salon for over 4 hours and Ashley had her assistant blow out her hair. Ashley did not let her know this, and took care of other customer that came in after her first. The blow out was done horribly. I feel a complete sense of disrespect as a previously customer I recommended someone who I trusted to my best friend who left the salon feeling horrible about herself and missed her dinner reservation. No one cared to attend to these concerns appropriately. Two customers now lost. This salon has forgotten about old customers getting too popular and focused the trends.

I went a few weeks ago to have my prom hair done and COULD NOT have asked for a BETTER experience! I had Booked Sam a few months in advance and when I showed up she was at the desk waiting for me! Unlike most stylist who just do your hair while you sit in awkward silence Sam talked to me on a personal level! We talked about what you tubers we loved, my prom, college and she was just so genuine. She complemented my blonde hair color which was amazing yo hear as I just gotten it fixed after previous problem (not from off 7th) and she knew just how to work with the inspiration picture I showed her! My hair looked so beyond gorgeous at prom I didnt take it out for 36 hours
