Ive been seeing Danilza (who put the D in "L&D") for over 10 years now. Theres no one Id trust more with my biracial hair. As a Dominican lady who has had much exposure to varied hair texture, she understands curly hair and will bring out the best in you. And most importantly, she LISTENS. Oftentimes when you go to a salon, the stylist sizes you up and has their own vision of what they want for you, forgetting all about the clients wants. Not her! And her personality is great, too! If you can keep up with her fast-paced Dominican Spanish (Im Puerto Rican, so its a little difficult for me, haha!), youll be laughing the whole time. And she keeps prices very reasonable. I have mid-back length, tightly curled hair and she charges $40 for a cut and blow out. Liz (the L in "L&D") is also great, if you cant get Danilza. Even the shampoo girls are friendly! And Lamar, who specializes in Black hair texture, is great for weaves, braids, perms....whatever your heart desires. You will not be disappointed. The space is large, clean and lively!

I love L&D. I went because it was recommended to me. I was tired of going to places who only wanted my money. The customer service there is always on point. They care about you and your hairs well being. They are professional. Keydy does my hair and she never fails me. However when Keydys not there her sister joelkys does a fabulous job too! They work with all hair types. Just when I thought it wasnt possibly for my hair to grow any longer or fuller, they proved me wrong! I recommend this salon to all!
