I have gotten 2 of the worst haircuts Ive ever had at this place. The hairdressers seem incompetent and both of the hairdressers Ive had were rude. The last time I went, I asked for the simply request to have layers added to my hair and the woman clearly had no idea what she was doing. I had to ask her several times to please cut layers into my hair after she was simply trimming my ends and each time she gave me an attitude until finally she put layers (if you could call them that) into only ONE side of my head. At that point I was fed up and left. The time before that I got a different woman who cut off over 5 inches of my hair after I told her only to trim the ends. Worst haircust Ive ever gotten and Im never going back.

This is a drop in only hair salon which means that you get whoever is there and available that day. This can pose a problem, however, because the quality (and friendliness) of the hair stylist varies considerably. Some of the stylists are very talented, professional, and truly no what theyre doing-people youd definitely want working on your hair. Some of them...well lets just say they fall short. I can fully understand why some people rated it so highly and others so poorly! We go there every three weeks or so to get my daughters bangs trimmed (only $5!) and it is certainly good enough for that.

Ended up at Gentry because they dont require an appointment and my normal stylist had to cancel last minute. Had roots done and a cut. The girl was so busy talking about her problems that she didt really concentrate on what she was doing. Price was not any less than where I normally go and was very unhappy with results. I should have known by looking at her hair that she wouldnt be good at doing mine.

The place was overall great. My stylist was very nice and asked me a lot if the hairstyle was how I wanted it. While getting it cut though I didnt realize that my left side was about 1 1/2 inches longer than my right. So when I got home I was kind of mad but, they fixed it for me with no charge so that was nice.

Two times now Ive tried to go in when they are running their speical and they are always so under staffed that they cant get me in. Why have a $25 color special when you cant see anyone from 5:30pm-close time? Its as if business is not important to them. And the attitude! Not going back ever.

Great hair cuts and great prices. I went here for years before moving out of state. They dont take appointments but they will tell you how long the wait is so you can do some shopping at the Towne Center and come back. Ask for Judy; shes top-notch.

Great haircuts! if youre a man looking for a quick cut that will look good for month+, then this is your place. Nice family owned, always friendly. Dont listen to the snobby lady above cause why would you go to a barber to get your roots done . . .
