Friendly Russian barber. But you must be EXTREMELY EXTREMELY clear and explicit what you want. I showed him a picture of a simple fade style with short sides and long at top and keep the sideburns. But he cut the top MUCH too short and removed the sideburns. I now look like a turnip. 3 stars because he brings a good attitude and vibe plus I dont want to crucify his rating on first review. but would give 1 stars If it was just quality of the cut. He will do a good job but you need to micro manage. Got the haircut before a formal event but after his haircut the pictures turned out rubbish.

With so many barber shops on long island ,you think it would be easy to get a decent cut...sadly thats not the case. Tried this shop and Zak cut my hair, he did a great job, skilled barber, he convinced me to try something different with my hair, and Im glad I let him. Very friendly, clean shop. No complaints. You will not be disappointed! Will come back again, again, and again !

Best cut ive gotten in years. I had settled with my last barber because he did an average job. Coming to Zak was the best decision I could have made. There are a lot of places that cant handle newer hair styles but my expectations here were exceeded! I wouldnt think in a million years I would change my hairstyle but Zaks suggestions made me try something new and I love it.

The work is quick, clean, and exactly what I want every time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something simple or if they want to try something new.

Everything you could want from a barber: knowledgable, quick, friendly, great price. You cant beat it. After another place botched my mohawk twice, I went to Zack and he nailed it. When it was time to go with a more mature style, Zack made a few suggestions and its been the best haircut Ive ever had.

My husband has been going to Zack for some time now, at my suggestion. He loves the extras like the hot towel and massage he gets with every haircut, not to mention the unscripted entertainment due to Zacks views on life. And he always looks great!

Been going to Zak since he took over a few years back. Great guy and knows what he is doing. Always good for a laugh. Hes also cut my 1 1/2 year old sons haircut as well and did a great job. Cant beat the prices and the hot steam towel.
