I have had many negative experiences at PDQ. I keep trying to support a small business but I continue to have bad experiences there. I figured, let me try once more since ownership has changed, maybe theyve redesigned their customer service...but NOPE! Still staffed by a grumpy bunch of half-checked out folks who insist they have the lowest prices despite the fact that they do not and dont seem to really try that hard to keep peoples business. A few years back I had an order screwed up by their staff (wrong paper) and after many attempts to have them fix their mistake I finally resorted to threatening to take my business elsewhere and then, with an attitude, they finally decided to make good on THEIR mistake. Again, Ive had yet another poor experience where the "best price" only emerged after telling them there was no way that was a reasonable price. Is it a flea market? I didnt realize you had to haggle over photocopies! I tried to be a good local consumer...but I dont feel the need to bend over backwards, spend too much money and then deal with bad attitudes.

Always use PDQ and never an issue. So thankful we have this service here in town. High quality and personalized service! I do want to put in my two cents though Peter, having owned a small business myself there will always be horrible reviews to deal with and I see that you do indeed respond to them. I do notice a tone of anger in your responses and some defensiveness, and that to me always defeated the purpose of taking time to respond to a customer. Its often tough to keep it short sweet and positive, But I would not engage with a customer in this forum as to whos right or wrong. This is posted with nothing but the best intentions as one business/public relations person to another. A reminder to all in the community ...PDQ is a mainstay of our community and is always ready to take on projects big and small in a timely manner. There is a wonderful collaborative spirit and its always a pleasure. Thanks guys :)

25 minutes in line. 1. The dont like the quality of my label, recommend dropping the package in mailbox because it is under 1 lb. 2. The special order that we placed for a labor day BBQ, which was a week too late for the BBQ, now cannot be found. So I wasted 30 minutes of my life. Im all for the small business, but what I wouldt give for a reasonably priced, competent office supply/shipping company in New Paltz. The new owners need to take a long hard look at the reviews on-line.

After dealing with Fedex "professionals" for about 3 hours, completing forms online and numerous calls to 800 number, finding PDQ printing was a big relief!!!! Peter was fast, professional, knew exactly what I wanted, explained everything, and I had time to pick some fabulous color pens also in meantime. What a delight to deal with people that are doing this for living 35 years!!! Will be back! You truly made my day and ended the nonsense frustration. Thank you again for you help.

The store front is non functional. No organized manner to come in and do what you have to do. To consult with anyone you have a long and high counter with no seating to discuss your project. Simple directions like follow up emails and phone calls did not happen. They need a good office manager to lead them into success. Places like this put a bad taste in peoples mouth about local business. Certainly will order online for any tickets and promotional posters etc. from now on.

I used PDQ twice for printing for a wedding - they printed shower invitations for me, and signs. They were helpful in helping me pick a finish and paper for the invites and -- they came out beautifully, and were done in 48 hours. The sign job was just as seamless, they accepted my files via email, and we discussed the job, and they had them done for me in less than a DAY, and the price was so reasonable! I couldnt ask for better. Ill be back, Im sure!

I made the mistake of taking a color printing job to the local Big Box store thinking that it would be faster and cheaper. I was very wrong about that. PDQ Printing did an excellent job printing my flyers- they did it while I waited and even did it for 2/3rds the price. The only frustration was that I didnt prepare ahead and email my job in. Had to run down the street to get a wifi connection to send it. The staff was really friendly and helpful!

Every time I need something done they go out of their way to assist me. I Know what I want as the finished product but getting it there is not a good thing for me to even attempt. I can explain what I want and usually with in 24 hrs they have at prototype we can use to get to my final vision. Thanks for making me look great! LindaWaz!

All I have to say is what a rip off!! Cost me $5.00 to fax 4 pieces of paper.. to unemployment no less, hello Im unemployed and paying 5 bucks, wow!! Should have used that gas money and drove to Staples. Then she said call to make sure they got it, for that price I could have sent it air mail...really??

Weeks go by, finally my business promotional fliers are done and I got to pick them up. WRONG COLOR !.... Person in charge not present, has the day off. Nobody knows where the files are saved on her desktop I get the runaround and lose another week ! Never again !

Went there to ship off a package and was extremely pleased with the service that they provided. Their employee gave me advice on where to go to ship off my other packages. The service was quick and fairly inexpensive. Highly recommended.

PDQ has been great to me. Whenever possible, they accommodate rush orders, they consult with me about special packaging, they respond quickly to requests. I have been using their services for the last 15 years, and am very satisfied.

I really like this place. A number of years ago the service was horrible, but it has since been taken over by new management and the entire operation has been streamlined. Great service and high quality prints!

PDQ offers competent service at competitive prices. We use them for many of our medical office needs. Supplies are definitely cheaper on-line but if you need something the same day on-line wont cut it.

Incompetent. None of the staff are trained or know what they are doing except the manager. Technology lacking. Be prepared to stand at the counter for a long long long long long time.

Ive only used PDQ for relatively small, custom, printing jobs but have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and to go the extra mile. Great to have them in my neighbourhood.

DONT SHIP HERE. Shipping my packages was a complete rip off! I was charged over a hundred dollars to ship 3 small packages. I will never do buisness here again.
