Jenna Kelly is a gem. I signed up on a Friday, and by Tuesday I was working in a temp job that changed my life for the better. I am able to transition to other areas in my field through Ethan Allen: I owe them so much for giving me the opportunity. Their electronic time system is easy to use, and they prod supervisors who may not have had a chance to approve time cards so Im always paid weekly. This temp agency is far different than temp agencies I dealt with 20 years ago where they gave you a typing test and then absolutely nothing happened. A lengthy skills assessment is given, yes, but Jenna actually listened to what I hoped for in a career shift and provided a job that I loved. One cannot depend solely on a temp agency for work, because they are limited just as the job seeker is by the fact they can only assign jobs if there are jobs to be assigned. But Ethan Allen gave me (and another co-worker) a great experience.

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is not a Hudson Valley organization that I would use to recruit quality talent and it is certainly not an effective company to use if you are looking for a job. A recruiting company that does not reach out to qualified candidates deserves to go out of business. If you are a business owner in the Hudson Valley area or Westchester, please consider other companies that might do a better job. Communication is a vital skill in any job and if you are paying a recruiting company to find you the best talent wouldnt you expect them to be communicating with the people that apply for the job? In my opinion Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is a lazy company or it is a company lacking resources. If you are a business owner and you want to find the best person for the job, do yourself a favor and do your homework before signing an agreement with Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions.

I went to Ethan Allen workforce solutions with my resume with 8 years of lead and/or management experience. I spoke to them to help me find a full time position as I am working 2 part time positions currently. Over the course of them working to find something for me, all I ever received from them was phone calls with one day 2 or 3 hour assignments. They never found me a full time job placement in my field and when I asked about the search I got the run around or nothing available. When I looked on indeed where ethan Allen posts jobs they had job after job after job full time posted in my field. I do not recommend going to them. Ill go elsewhere and most likely get better help.

Jenna and Katherine both helped me get out of a terrible, long commute, at a job where the employer didnt care about the employees at all. They both worked really hard at getting me into a position that I could apply what I was learning at school for when I graduated and they also worked hard at getting me a job as soon as I was graduated! Being placed in an internal position has been awesome! I love the people I work with, the process was smooth, and I have just been offered a full time position! I cant wait to continue in this job and create more bonds and relationships with everyone I work with. Thanks Ethan Allen for putting me where I fit!

My only suggestion for improvement is that they work on having better lines of communication with their employees like making sure to let them know when their placement will be extended and things like that.

Long interview process. But helpful. They keep in touch like theyre supposed to. Location is right off the Mid-Hudson Bridge so easy to get to. They will work with you and help you if you put in some effort.
