We recently spent 2 weeks looking for kitchen cabinets on various internet websites. We were a little apprehensive, never having bought cabinets on the internet, but after looking around locally we were disappointed with the selection and the quality of the cabinets available. We discovered there are dozens of different cabinet websites and the experience of navigating each one was somewhat overwhelming. Each website was structured differently and jumping back and forth between the various cabinet selection pages became a real ordeal. I finally had to set up my own spreadsheet to keep up with the website names, the cabinet names, the types and dimensions of cabinets needed, and the total cost from each website. After narrowing our options, we discovered Kabinet King. At first I was disappointed that the cabinets we were interested in were special order and not searchable on their website. However, that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It resulted in me reaching out to Sabrina in Internet Sales. From that point forward the experience was very easy, much easier than the other websites. Sabrina suggested I send her an e-mail with a list of the cabinets I needed. That was easy, because I already had that information on my spreadsheet. Sabrina was very responsive as questions arose and she even found a perfect microwave cabinet for us that wasn’t offered by the other sites. Her knowledge is exceptional and her customer focus is among the best I’ve experienced. Turn around times were very quick and the final purchase paperwork was a breeze thanks to Sabrina. I also want to give special thanks to Jessica, their Customer Service Manager. She went out of her way to e-mail me a copy of our paid invoice just minutes after I spoke to her. And she was right on time with the freight tracking number, so on short notice we were able to schedule our son to help unload the cabinets when the truck arrived. There was one issue with a wrong cabinet being sent by the 3rd party supplier but Troy, who happened to answer the Kabinet King phone that day, told me immediately what I needed to do to fix the problem. That shows that all the staff at Kabinet King are very knowledgeable and exhibit excellence in customer service, even when they’re not specifically assigned to your order. Sabrina solved the wrong cabinet problem the very next day, and within 24 hours the correct cabinet was on its way. The correct cabinet arrived by UPS less than 3 business days after I first identified the problem to Sabrina. Kabinet King even allowed us to keep the wrong cabinet at no additional cost. You can’t ask for more than that. And the cabinets themselves are very good quality, particularly for their price. Kabinet King’s price was hundreds of dollars less than other websites and the design, materials, and construction was also better than the others. We are very happy with our purchase. If you use Kabinet King for your cabinet needs, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I knew we needed a new kitchen as our old one was last renovated about 35 to 40 years ago. We wanted to do it right and went about it slowly. We began by researching kitchen cabinet crafters. The number of quality brands we found was overwhelming. What kind of wood did we want? How about the cut? What style of cabinet face? Full overlay or not? The amount of colors, glazes and finishes available made the process appear daunting. I knew we needed help. Living in New York City, we literally had hundreds of kitchen cabinet companies to choose from. Like many folks, we first visited Home Depot and Lowes for help. We didnt feel comfortable with the impersonal customer service and the overall youre on your own feeling that they offered. We decided to search for a smaller company with a more personal touch. One with a focus on kitchen cabinets and countertops. One with a staff who would dedicate themselves to making sure my wife and I were well informed and involved in every step of the process. After visiting several smaller kitchen cabinet companies, we found Kabinet King located at 211-36 Hillside Avenue, Queens Village NY 11427. On our 1st visit, we were warmly welcomed by Gregory Haddad the Sales Manager, a gentleman whose knowledge, professionalism and patience were immediately recognized by my wife and I. To put things in perspective, we arrived about an hour before closing with our two young daughters, ages 1.5 and 3.5. Greg stayed 2 hours past closing while patiently answering our questions, guiding us through every design option and making sure our 2 little ones were kept busy. He was just as courteous on our 2nd and 3rd visits. At that point, we were certain that we had found the perfect place to fit our needs. Greg and his team of professionals were always available whether by telephone, email or in person to ensure that we were satisfied. The Project Foreman, Michael, visited our home to take custom measurements and made crucial adjustments to our original design as his experience in this field proved to be invaluable. The Project Designer, Troy, implemented every customization that we desired in our 10 X 10 kitchen. He was extremely patient, polite and professional. He made adjustments quickly and thoroughly as his attention to detail was top notch. What an All-Star! The order was placed, the cabinets were crafted and delivered right on schedule. We could not be happier with the end result and are truly thankful to Kabinet King especially Greg, Michael and Troy for helping to turn our dream kitchen into a reality. For the record, we ended up choosing StarMark custom kitchen cabinets in standard cut oak. We liked how the color slate looked with a chocolate glaze. We also chose a cottage finish which gave the cabinets a slightly distressed vintage look. To compliment and contrast the cabinetry, we chose an absolutely beautiful quartz material by LG named Aria for our island top and counter top.

Kabinet King has a beautiful showroom and great friendly sales people. After researching so many cabinet retailers my boyfriend and I decided to see this place in person especially because we were skeptical about all the over the top glowing reviews. We wanted to see if the reviews were honest and if there was a catch. In short, the reviews are mostly honest but I felt it was important to share my experience with them even though I ultimately decided to go with another retailer. The first time my boyfriend and I came to KK we were greeted by Greg and given top notch quality service. When my boyfriend and I left, we were floored by Greg’s service. We had been considering other cabinet retailers, but after our first visit to KK we knew KK was it. We were excited and called during the week to make an appointment with Greg on Saturday. This is where things began to fall apart. We arrived for our appointment and Greg was unavailable because he was helping another client. Cool, no problem. My boyfriend and I were in no rush and told the other salesperson we would happily wait. After a while, the salesperson tells us that Greg is ready and sat us down. The new salesperson then took over, which we initially didn’t mind because we thought she was just getting us started and Greg would eventually take over. Except, Greg never came over despite the fact that he was actually free and sitting at the desk next to us. Awkward and weird. He knew we were there to see him and even made an appointment and waited for him to be free. Why not take over? My boyfriend and I did not have a good feeling about this. It started to feel like a bait and switch. So much so that we even decided not to mention that we wanted to upgrade the original cabinet design. The vibe was funny—it was off. The new salesperson—Hadija was ok. She wasn’t as enthusiastic as Greg nor was she as patient. She was rushing us through the new design and it was no longer fun. I’m a chef and designing a new kitchen from scratch is a dream. I’m like a kid in a candy store. I had a ton of questions and each time I asked one, she seemed annoyed. Halfway through the appointment, my boyfriend and I knew that we would not be getting our cabinets from here. Our second visit was night and day different from the first. It’s sad because we were so close from getting our cabinets from here but we’re ultimately glad that we didn’t. We ordered our cabinets from a different independent retailer who in the end, offered us a better design, better quality, countertops, service, and overall price. All in all, the prices at KK are competitive and they offer a variety of cabinets. It’s possible that they were having an off day when we went for our second visit. Nonetheless, service should be consistent across the board especially when you have people who are spending THOUSANDS.
