I love this salon! I used to be one of those people that just went to whatever salon I could get a last minute appointment at and I would bounce around a lot but not anymore! One day when of course I needed a blowout at the last minute and quick, I called Hair Machine and they could take me right away, so I went over there and was graced with the gift of Justin, the salons owner, who also happens to be a hair magician. He was considerate of the fact that I was in a rush and got my mop of a head of hair washed and blown out in under 30 minutes and got me on my way. Needless to say, I was very impressed so I decided to return next time I needed highlights and a cut. Again, he did an amazing job, I left the salon with a new, refreshed and updated look. On top of his awesome hair skills, he is always teaching me tips I can use at home and using the newest hair techniques. I also have a great time at this salon, everyone is so nice and the energy is great, I feel like I am hanging out among friends when I am there. What I love more than anything about this salon is that they stand behind their work, if I am ever unhappy or want something tweaked a bit, Justin and his team want me to let them know, and they are truly happy to make sure I leave the salon feeling satisfied with my hair. That is a sign of a true professional team and is a part of the reason why I am now a loyal Hair Machine customer. In addition, the salon has very reasonable prices, lots of employees, and great hours. I definitely recommend this salon and Justin for all your haircare needs! I go to Jessica D. for cut and color ... AMAZING. She is great whether you go in knowing exactly what you want and great for suggestions if you want to try something new (both cut and color wise). I point that out because Ive been to stylists where I say "I want a change" and they say, "well what do you want?" Um, well, I want them to suggest something cool and Jessica definitely does that. Ive had color from black, red, purple, orange, back to red, back to purple, the list goes on and on. If you follow their Facebook and Instagram pages you will see the stylists attend courses to continue their education which shows me they really care about what they do! If your preferred stylist is not available to blow dry your hair, you can trust any of the other stylists on the floor for sure. Everyone is really nice and accommodating to your needs. They always have specials on hair products (shampoo, conditioner, styling products, blow-dryers, brushes) so I purchase all that good stuff there too. Saves you a trip to the drugstore, plus you get it all at a good price. The valet is SUPER convenient, totally worth spending the few extra bucks. If you didnt catch the valet and parked your own car, dont be concerned about the meters because they will run out for you! Another plus, if you are coming from out of the area, it is walking distance from the LIRR.

Wow!!! Justin is AMAZING!!! My hair dresser moved a few years ago and I have been looking around for someone who is good with both coloring and cutting -and also who is reasonably priced. After many unsuccessful attempts at finding a regular hairdresser, I am so blessed to have found Justin. Justin did an absolutely amazing job on both my cut and color, and the pricing is very fair for the work done. (I have paid more at places that have done a poor job.) Justin knows what he is talking about, teaches coloring classes, has excellent suggestions on how my hair can look its best, and is extremely friendly. It was nice speaking with him while I was getting my hair done. In addition, I was a few minutes early and was taken right to his chair and offered a beverage. I love a hairdresser who is on time. Another nice thing is that he had his staff go outside a few times to fill my parking meter. As the owner of the salon, he is a great businessman, and is super sweet to both his staff and his customers. This place is being run very well. I am actually looking forward to my next haircut and highlight!

I have been going to Hair Machine for awhile now and I have to say I will never go anywhere else - as long as Suzanne is there!!! I have very long, curly hair and have gone through many hair cutters who claim they can cut curly hair only to be disappointed in the end. Cutting curly hair is very different from cutting straight hair. After my first hair cut with Suzanne I was hooked. Not only is she an awesome hair stylist but she is funny and extremely easy to talk to. I am so comfortable sitting in her chair and I know she will not do anything without asking and will give an honest opinion if you ask for it. She is knowledgeable not only in hair styling but also in coloring and has fantastic suggestions. I always walk out happy, with a smile on my face. If anyone is looking for a hair stylist who knows curly hair, please go to Hair Machine and ask for Suzanne, I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!

So I must start by saying that I dont usually write reviews. But after an AMAZING cut with Justin at Hair Machine I simply HAVE to write!! I was in need of a new salon and had NO idea where to go. So I did some searching and found a lot of excellent reviews about Hair Machine and decided to go for it. AM I GLAD I DID!! Not only is Justin super knowledgeable and friendly, but he really listens to you and makes suggestions on how you can look more gorgeous. I told him I was unhappy with my dark roots, but he agreed it was too soon for a whole head of highlights. So he asked me if I had some time, and then did the most amazing thing ... He fixed my roots in 20 minutes!!! It was a really great new product that "softens" the root. I am so happy! It brightened the color, plus the dark roots are GONE! Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! Thank you Justin and thank you Hair Machine! I will be back!

LISA is an amazing hair stylist- as a mother of two it is very hard to look and feel beautiful. However, whenever I am in Lisas hands-I walk out of Hair Machine feeling beautiful! Lisa takes her time and listens to what you want your hair to look like and then discusses what she feels as the professional would look best on you. She is caring, compassionate, and kind. She cares tremendously for her clients and their happiness with the way they look and feel when they leave her chair. I have had my hair cut by many people and my hair has never looked as fantastic as when Lisa cuts and blows out my hair. LISA IS AMAZING!

Today was my first time to the Hair Machine in RVC and I have to say it was an unexpected treat. Classy and trendy are the first words that came to mind when I walked into the salon. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism from Justin. The time he took to discuss my vision for my hair was extraordinary. The color, cut and hair style lesson was perfect. I look forward to many years with Justin and his Hair Machine.
