This is related to the new White Plains location in Mamaroneck Ave. I cannot believe I put up with these guys for several years and gave them thousands of dollars. In more than one occassion, they have shown to me that they do not care about the customer. For the work they have done for me: their quality is so-so and their prices are high. Their customer service is rude and non-existent. Yesterday was the "straw that broke the camels back" for me. Incident date: August 25th, 2012 afternoon. I showed them a shirt collar that they had destroyed and the counter person shrugged her shoulders and said that she would put in a "note". This had happened a couple of times before, and so I told her that I was more interested in the future washes, especially with some of my expensive shirts. She outright told me that she could not guarantee anything because their "factory" was in a different place. When I asked her why Fredericks would not be able to stand behind its own work, she sarcastically told me that I could not expect her to "accompany the laundry to the factory". I pointed out to her that as a customer who paid Fredericks hundreds of dollars a year, she was about to lose a reasonable customer. She just rolled her eyes. As a person who is typically loyal, I gave her one more opportunity to save the customer by saying "I am sorry, it was my mistake to have selected Fredericks". She said "Yes". There are 5 other dry cleaning shops within 1 mile of that area. I cannot believe these guys are still in business.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. I WOULDNT GO HERE IF THEY GAVE ME FREE DRY CLEANING FOR LIFE. A quick update on my awful experience with this criminal enterprise. They lost my suit and one of there employees signed something saying that I would be reimbursed for my lost items. So like an idiot I took them at that and went out purchased a new suit and gave them the receipt. Mind you they lost a suit valued in excess of $800 when I went to the store the suits were on sale so I purchased the exact same suit for $550 because all I wanted was the suit and they were going to reimburse me. THESE THIEFS REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME FOR 6 WEEKS EVEN THOUGH THEY SINGED SOMETHING SAYING THEY WOULD, it is now 8 WEEKS later and the scum that own this dump had the poor woman works for him called me to offer me $300 and a small store credit. They assumed that I would just take there ridiculous offer. So now I have my lawyer involved because this is not right. I am reporting them to the BBB and hopefully channel 4 responds to my email about exposing shady businesses.

I paid $30.00 for $60.00 worth of dry cleaning through Groupon. I used a portion at my last visit & had balance of $15.00 or so. When I went back to their Greenburg location there was another dry cleaners there who had no information on my account in the computer. I called the Thornwood store & was told there is nothing they could do. Hard to believe they would rather lose a customer than honor my $15.00 credit. This is truly BAD business. How does a business not transfer information on their customers accounts when they close a store? Avoid this place if you have a choice. The owner is not a nice person to do business with. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. But the people there just dont really care about you or your clothing. Yesterday, the guy behind the counter felt I was not moving fast enough as I pulled my clothes out of the bag and made some pretty disrespectful comments. That combined with getting damaged clothing back on a past visit and having them deny it was enough for me. So much for the new management. Long time customer lost.

Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Cleaning By Fredericks service and quality is awful…I will never go back to this dry cleaner again!!! They are nasty and dishonest!!! They tried the old bait and switch routine to overcharge me and trump up the cost of awful quality work.
