Mr. Maher, I just completed the customer survey today but I wanted to take it one step further and reach out to you personally to let you know what an EXCEPTIONAL staff you have in Jose Sierra and Tommy Deluca. About 4 weeks ago I purchased a 2016 Limited Forester. I love my Subaru and know I made the right choice. I was previously a loyal Honda customer. I had purchased a new 2002 Honda (years ago) which was a reliable car and I was looking for the same reliability in the purchase of my next vehicle. Unfortunately Subaru was not on my radar until I touched bases with my cousin who has already purchased a Cross Trek from your dealership a few weeks prior to my purchase of the Forester. He has received outstanding customer service from both Jose and Tommy when he not only purchased his vehicle but also when he brought in his father-in-law, wife and son who all purchased Subaru’s from Mid-Hudson (and me now). Jose and Tommy as a team have both provided exceptional service which is why my cousin continues to bring customers to Mid-Hudson such as myself. I personally received outstanding service through the process from the selection of the right vehicle for me with no pressure, the great price, the interest rate and I’m sure the continued follow through when I bring it in for maintenance. Your team exudes; · Excellent customer service; friendly, kind, respectful and helpful. · Great communication skills (keeping me looped in on the status of my vehicle and great communication with each other as a team). · Confidence in their product because they genuinely believe in the product, that being Subaru vehicles. · Integrity; honor their word and are genuinely honest when conducting business transactions. · Transparency with transaction and status of vehicle. · Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. · Side note: I brought in my little 5lb feisty Chihuahua and everyone tried to love on him but he gets in stranger danger mode and they had to leave him alone but I totally appreciate the effort (loved the Subaru doggie bag holder). I appreciated Jose’s kind gestor of bringing my little Maximus water the multiple times I brought him in. That was another above and beyond act of kindness – much appreciated. Mr. Maher both Jose and Tommy could open their own franchise of Subaru and be very successful at it because of everything they learned at Mid-Hudson. I don’t know you personally but they say when employees are happy that means that the company and management must be doing something right because it’s reflective of the moral in the individual, work place and the customer service they provide. No organization is perfect but you must be doing something right. I truly hope that Jose and Tommy and the individual that was able to get me a lower finance rate (I don’t want to forget him either, he was outstanding) can they in some way be compensated for their exceptional service because they truly deserve it!!! (My apologies I don’t have the business card with his name in front of me but my records should reflect his name). Thanks for the seamless and drama free experience in purchasing my new vehicle at Mid-Hudson. You have an OUTSTANDING staff and I wanted to bring that point home by sending you a personal email in addition to the survey. Thank you for your time. Respectfully, Diane

Just purchased a 2017 Legacy 3.6 ,my 3rd Subaru since 2008 and turned down another dealer for $419 less money. Mid-Hudson is honest, loyal to there customers and stands behind there work 100%. The sales team Wayne ( my sales person ) was caring, listened to me and did not try and pressure me with typical car salesman BS. Wayne knew his product, was honest about delivery dates and never tried to rush me in the process. Wayne is a long time pro, who cares about doing the sale correctly, not cutting corners. He went over every detail of the car and when he had a doctors appointment on the day that i requested delivery he ask another sales Consultant, Patricia to step in to accommodate my schedule, instead of me having to conform to his schedule. She also was top notch in explaining all of the hi-tech features of my new 2017 Legacy to me in very simple English and was a great teacher. She gave me her card and said, "call back with any questions," i am not even her customer and she left her door open for future use of her time. They were a team of professionals, not a bunch of hustlers. Years ago i purchased an Audi and on the delivery date, i was hustled out the door in 10 minutes, so my salesman could spend his time with another customer. The entire dealership from Tom the sales manager, to the finance mangers all let you know that you are valued.

This dealership is a class act, and thats rare among car dealers. However, the true test of a car dealership is how they handle the customer when they have a problem. Dealing with people who are happy is easy, dealing with people who have a problem with their vehicle is a much harder feat. I had an issue with my brand new 2014 Subaru Forester and I truly feel that Mid Hudson Subaru did everything in their power to help me from initially attempting to fix the issue and then finally working with Subaru to replace the vehicle. Leadership starts from the top and Peter Maher, the owner, exemplifies that. Every promise he made me along the way, he honored. Thats very respectable in my book. The manager, Kevin, is also caring, helpful and not your typical car dealer manager. Mid Hudsons sales team is great and Michelle is the best car salesperson ive ever dealt with. She knows the cars, doesnt play games, gives you a great price and makes buying a car an easy and pleasurable process. The service department is also really good. Rob Bosch is the manager and cares about his customers. Ive dealt with him directly several times and the guy really wants to help you. I cant say enough good things about this dealership and I actually recently went back and bought my wife a Legacy.

Just went in to this dealership with financing already secured and was given the run around for almost 2 hours. Ran my credit regardless of having financing in place and their so called "heroes pricing" was non existent. I am a veteran of 3 times over of Iraq and Afghanistan who heard good things about them. The salesman whom I dealt with and the sales manager just kept the run around game going. Quite unhappy and will definitely add this review wherever I can *Edit after response from the owner- I was not offered any incentive at Mid-season Subaru, the price that was offered was the price on a printed inventory list and was told "we are different in that we own our cars so the price we offer is the best we can do." The personal history in question was when the salesman wanted to check my credit to see if they could offer a better deal than the finance company whom I had secured financing from already. The trade in question, not every car is going to come in perfect and still booked in from both NADA and KBB at around $5000 in fair condition. The trade in value I was given, $2300, was based on information garnered from the vehicles Carfax report. Someone may have a good experience here but I did not and I urge whoever reads this to research other dealers in the area
