Ive been to other dance schools and I have to say that Rhythmology is by far the best. The instructors are all very enthusiastic and I really like that the group classes are taught by following a syllabus. New students are not allowed to join the beginners classes if a couple of sessions have already begun so as to not hold back the rest of the class. This is unlike other schools where new students would join and then the more experienced students will have to re-learn what they have already learned just so the new students can catch up. New students must wait for the next section of beginner classes to begin, which benefits both the new and more experienced students. Students also work their way up multiple levels of dance styles, which I think is a positive. For example, there are four levels of bachata and eight levels of salsa, among other styles. Each level is at least eight weeks. Classes for each level are also offered multiple times a week so if you miss a particular class, you can always make it up later in the week. The instructors are very sharp and have the ability to focus on all the students in the group classes where they notice and correct flaws individually. The instructors are also very dynamic, funny and positive, which makes the learning experience fun, while the students are all very friendly and inviting. From a business perspective, Rhythmology appears to be a very well run operation and I was able to tell Alfreds business savvy by my first conversation with him. Two thumbs up. - Grant

Rhythmology is a great dancing environment and works with different types of dancers. Both beginners and those who have dedicated more time to dance can learn so much from the knowledgeable and professional staff. We got started here right before our wedding to take some group classes in order to get some pointers to dance throughout the night of the wedding, and also took private lessons to do a choreographed first dance. In just 6 weeks, Alfred has worked with us to put together a dance and teach it to us in such a short time , always making it seem possible, and making us feel accomplished!!! We are NOT naturally good dancers and have NO training... He made the dance possible, even including some cool tricks. We will definitely continue coming here for group classes after the wedding to keep building on our bachata, salsa, and other latin dance skills!

I had an amazing time with Rhythmology. They are very out going people and show lots of love and fun in the process of teaching dance. They made my experience a passionate one. Their training is so well done and makes you a dance pro after the end of your session, and there are awesome price packages to run your own dance session which is what I love the most. I have been taking lessons at Rhythmology for three years. Alfred makes everyone feel at home and in the mood to dance. The other teachers are also extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I began learning salsa. I find the people taking lessons are willing to practice and we enjoy each others company.I can now do salsa on 1 or salsa on 2. The salsa lessons starts with shines. This is were you learn the basics. It is also great exercise. Suggestion: Try dancing, youll love it. Suzi

Im finally learning what seems like a life-long dream: Flamenco dancing!!! Ay! Ay! Ay! 15 years ago, I studied abroad in Madrid and took a Sevillanas dance class. Ive attended flamenco shows at restaurants and in theaters, but always wanted to learn for myself. Spanish instructor Carolina Montilla is exceptional and professional, patient and enthusiastic. I look forward to each class and wish it werent only one-hour long (make it a 2-hour class, Carolina!!). Cant wait to have my first recital.

Lets be honest - I just love Rhythmology! After years at different dance studios, I can say without question that this one is the best. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the instruction is excellent. Alfred, Carolina & Bryan are amazing dancers, and they inspire you to be amazing, too! With Salsa and Bachata classes for different levels of abilities, you can dance at your comfort level and move to harder classes when ready. Come and feel the rhythm!!! Youll get hooked, too!!!

I have been going to Rhythmology for 3 weeks. There are different level classes and I am taking the Level1 boot camp for Bachata and Salsa. I am having a great time. I have never danced and was self conscious about going to classes. Alfred Pena and his staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff and students are very friendly. I will continue to take classes and maybe sometime in the near future I will even get on the dance floor.

Rhythmology is a great place to start you dancing adventure. Whether you are new to the dance scene or looking to develop your dancing skills this is the right place. Their monthly practice socials is a great way to practice what you learn while having the instuctors around if you have any questions. The staff is great and I enjoy how each instructor brings a different style in the class.

I just started taking lessons here and I love them so far. I enjoy that the instructors want to teach the history of each dance. I also like that the instructors want students to practice steps the right way. I feel I can trust the instructors to help me get the dancing down so that I dont look sloppy and that my technique is on point.

My boyfriend and I purchased a 10 class Groupon. We had so much fun, and loved the people. We didnt get a chance to finish the last 2 classes because we got busy and out Groupon expired. However, we are planning on starting again in Spring. I highly recommend this place. So much fun.
