Weve been here before with no problems, but today was an unpleasant experience. My sister called ahead at noon to see what the wait was for a party of 11 on New Years Day. No wait. We get there at 20 after and are told its a 40 minute wait. Ok. After half an hour, my brother checks on our progress. He was told another 40 minutes. Thankfully, it was only about 20. Shortly after we are seated, our waiter takes our drink order. It takes about 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, but we were talking and perusing the menu. It takes another10 minutes to get our bread. I was beginning to wonder if they still served bread. It took at least an hour for our first meal to be delivered. Subsequent meals came out sporadically. Those in our party who were served first were done before the last few were served. Our waiter was also serving a party of 8 right next to us. We watched them as they looked around for their server as we had been doing. The food was very good. Empty plates piled as we waited for our server to come by so we could ask for To-go boxes and to order dessert. Finally, we ordered dessert. At 3:00, our dessert still had not arrived. My sister suggested we order from the dessert counter and leave. About that time, one, yes one, dessert arrived. 10 minutes later, my nieces hot fudge sundae came minus the hot fudge. We again waited. Finally, my husband spoke to a manager on his way to take our 6 year old son to the bathroom for the 6th time since wed been there so long. He was busy behind the counter and said hed send another manager over. Just a short while later, another man came over asking rather curtly if we needed to talk to him. My husband explained that we had been there almost 3 hours at this point and were still awaiting our desserts, one dessert was wrong, and we needed to leave. We had small children and were tired. He told the man that our waiter appeared overworked and needed help. The manager only replied, "Is that it? Ok. Get hot fudge for the sundae and Ill bring your checks to you. Your desserts should be here soon." No apology. No offer to help. Well, no hot fudge came because they were out and the rest of our desserts came out haphazardly. Some were packaged to-go that were not asked to be. We waited, and waited for our checks. Then, we waited, and waited, and waited for them to be rung out so we could leave. By the time we left, it was almost 4:00 and our legs were so stiff from the uncomfortable rattan chairs, I could hardly walk! 3 1/2 hours!!

Having company from out of town, I was asked for suggestions for a place to eat. Trying to think of a place that had "a little bit of everything" was a lot more difficult than it seemed. I had only been a cheesecake factory once before and it had been years ago. Knowing this one was in the area, however, i decided to give it a go. The building itself is GORGEOUS! The architecture and detail of the restaurant is breath taking and theres so many amazing places to look. We were placed at a window seat and had a beautiful view of the greene. My table ordered the crab/artichoke dip as an appetizer. The meat itself was excellent and we ended up dipping the basket of bread they give you in it. If you are a crab dip fan, I recommend it to you! (It doesnt have much raddish in it, however) We also all tried their strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade and it was BY FAR the best lemonade we have EVER had! The concentration and proportion of sugar to lemon zing was perfection. Our steak, pasta, burger, and salads were all very good as well. The cheesecake, as you may have guessed, is pure perfection. The service was wonderful. While the building was jam packed (our table of 5 had to wait over an hour. It was dinner rush on a saturday night, however), we were never left sitting waiting on the waitress to refill drinks or take food from us. She was very bubbly and happy! I dont remember her name but shes a brunette and has glasses -- WONDERFUL SERVICE! The only downfall to the entire shinnanigans was the price. While prices werent terribly unreasonable for the high quality we were getting, they were definitely not cheap. The meals are on average about 13 dollars, appetizers another 10, cheesecake almost 8 dollars each and drinks 4 dollars... So you do the math. Our table of 5 had a 165 dollar bill! If you want to splurge, this is the place to do it.

Well... We called a WEEK in advance to check on reservations, call ahead seating, they do neither, was told to call back on the day we were going to be coming in , mind you this was going to be our first and now probably our last time here. So we called in the day were coming in for my birthday dinner with a party of 15 people, just to make sure they do not take reservations they do not, was told to come in at least an hour before we wanted to be seated, so we did so, hostess had to call manager over for him to explain to me that it would now be an hour to two before we were seated! Now mind you we had already driven 45 min and ALL our friends and family were headed here as well what was I going to do call them and say never mind?! Needless to say this is piss poor planning for a restaurant of this quality to not except reservations for such a large party, and as we sit here waiting to be sat, we watch many people being sat, partys of 5-6-7 people! Makes me shake my head! Not once did the manager oh wait there were two on duty come over and ask if we would like to have a drink or anything, mind you we could have sat at alcohol bar, but it was full of people just drinking, nope we were totally ignored the entire two hours we sat and waited and watched people be sat and ate and leave time and again. Now about our food, it was fine, our waitress was Good, but will we go back NO, FIRST AND LAST TIME FOR THIS FAMILY!!!

Not impressed. Based on my experience and others which are similar, I believe management needs to do a better job choosing employees. I ate brunch here with my family on what appeared to be a fairly slow Sunday. There was no wait for our table and the restaurant wasnt close to full. It took 3 requests and 25 minutes to have sliced lemons brought out for our water. An appetizer that was order was never brought out. When it was mentioned to our server, just to make sure it wasnt added to the bill, the response was something close to "okay Ill make sure its not on it." No apology, didnt offer to bring it out, just an acknowledgement that it wasnt brought to us. Food took a while to come out and when it did my eggs benedict was completely overcooked. I believe with a different server the experience would have been much better.

I went the Cheesecake Factory with my friends in 2/24/2016 at about 10 PM. My friends decided to eat in the restaurant but I wanted my order to be to go. We sat in a table and I ordered one hot fudge sundae to go. Usually they put everything (Ice cream, the fudge, almonds and the cream) in one box but this time each one in a separate box. I told the waitress to please put them in one box. She started to be so rude, and say she cant do that because its illegal!! and because you are setting in a table. Seriously!! What kind of rule is this. My friends was already eating in the restaurant and all I wanted the order to be in one box not separates. She was the rudest waitress I have ever met. I thought Cheesecakes waitresses are always good. I hope the manager see this review and do something about the waitress.
