Been coming here for haircuts every few weeks for about a year now, since I moved to the Cincinnati area and realized that if youre a dude and you want a "grown-up" haircut, the chain stores arent gonna cut it (pun intended). Spent several months experimenting with the cut to figure out exactly what I wanted and I was never anything less than super pleased with the cuts I got. Ive had all three of them cut my hair at this point and, as far as I can tell, not one of them knows how to give a bad haircut. Great guys, great relaxed, old-school atmosphere, great conversation. And on top of all that, theyre fairly priced, especially when compared to the chains. Ill be coming back for the foreseeable future.

Ive been to this barber shop twice and gotten Tim both times. The first time I wasnt satisfied with my cut, but the reviews were all really good, so I decided to go again. The second time I even brought a picture of what I wanted. Tim barely glanced at it, didnt get me what I wanted so I had to talk him through it anyway, which is annoying but not a big deal. The next day, however, I noticed a big chunk of hair on the top of my head that was longer than the rest, so I got my phone and took a video of the back of my head....looks terrible. Im traveling for business next week, so now I have to find a new barber to fix it before I fly out on Sunday. I wont be going back.

I had not had a hair cut in over 5 months and the staff at Mariemont Barbershop made me feel at home the moment I sat down in the Barbers chair. I left with a better, more accurate-to-my-description hair cut than the past 4 I had at pricey places out of town. A nice fade, a spot-on beard trim, precise straight razor work. This place is a classic and if you want to get a high-quality hair cut at fair price, this is the place to visit in Cincinnati. Definitely worth the return visit when I get scraggly in 8 weeks.

Great place, great people, great haircuts at a very reasonable price. They do so much more than salons or the chains, you leave feeling renewed. If youve been doing the chains or even the salons you have to try this place, youll be amazed with the true barber shop experience these guys provide. Saw some negative reviews about the new guy. They will train him, probably already happened. Yes, you do have to call ahead a day or two; its a sign of their ongoing success..

Been going here since I relized certain chains and their "stylists" dont know how to cut a guys hair. This place is what you want a barbershop to be. Ron, Brian, and Eugene and are light and keep it entertaining. Its hard to get in from time to time so plan on making an appointment at least 3-4 days in advance. Businessmans special is the way to go with a straight razor neck shave.

Just like what Joe T said, I had Tim as my barber and showed him a picture of a recent hair cut, which is a high and tight, and I had to asked him a few times to walk him through in cutting my hair. I think the other barbers have more experience and are preferred on a regular basis. I would call a few days ahead to setup an appointment with one of them. I havent been back since.

This place is wonderful! It reminds me of when I was younger and I would go to the local "shop" with my grandfather. Same straight razor neck shave after the cut just like the old days. My cuts have always been great and I hear good things about their shaves - maybe on my next visit. You wont regret getting your haircut at the Mariemont Barber Shop!
