The telling of a GREAT barber is when some ask the client "Where did you get your haircut?" It is also the sign of a BAD barber. Let me explain, when Big Quinn cuts my hair, people ask me where I got my haircut because theyre thinking about getting a better barber than the one theyve got. BUT, when other barbers in MLB shop cut my hair I get the same question, but for a different reason. They ask so they dont get such an embarrassing haircut. In fact, if I wasnt self-employed, I would have had to take a week off of work because my cut was so bad! But there are two sides of the story. Yes, they gave me a bad cut, but I should have said something and asked them to fix it. I never thought about looking in the mirror when my hair was cut because I had always gotten a good cut. When I got home I felt like I spent $20 (Cuts are $15, but I also tip $5) for NOTHING. Summary: If you go to this shop, ASK FOR BIG QUINN. Dont let ANY other barber touch your head. Look for another shop.

This barbershop is probably one of the best in the STATE! I am not giving this rating just because. I have never had a bad haircut there--EVER... All of the barbers are highly trained and very professional. There is always plenty of raucous barbershop talk but its still family friendly and very clean. They have old school video arcade games that I like to play while waiting if I have to wait at all. My barber sits in the very first chair immediately when you enter. He is amazing. I cant recall his name but you will see him because he has a light complexion and a long beard. Anyway this shop is all around excellent, its black owned and he really prides himself on customer service.

I got cut by Hands. Its rare to find a barber who can low cut a females hair without it coming off studly or too hard (unless thats what you want of course). He didnt mess up my lineup, gave me exactly what I was looking for, and asked me before making major changes (like cutting my widows peak). Great service, chill shop.
