I went to the shop on 8/14/16 to get a haircut, just like the few shops that I passed along the way they were quite busy doing free back to school hair cuts. As Im sitting there one of the barbers on the left asked me if I was ready and I obliged. He sent me to a guy thats about 4 chairs down on the left. Now my original hairstyle was a South of France hawk(Ushers haircut) but now I wanted a tapered cut. Pretty simple cut, at least that is what I thought. This dude fading skills is horrible, he cant follow directions. I went from having a fro hawk to looking like Play from Kid n Play. Its not the cut I wanted but I didnt have time to complain because I had to be at work in a hour. Im not the type of person to not pay for a service so i gave him a $20 for the cut but I will never visit that shop again. I mean I showed him the picture of what I wanted and asked can he do it. He said, with confidence, yes. I would check his barbers license because he sucks for real. He took my line back on the side of my face. I look like a pokemon...Bulbasore. My hair looks round on my head. This guy needs to be arrest for impersonating a barber. Just looking at it makes me feel really bad for even going there.

This place is really bad I mean bad I have been going here for three years now they f*** up every single time. I really cant deal with them anymore I try gaving chance after chance place is bad. One thing the barbers dont even have degrees. If your black your hair is going to be way low. If your trying grow your hair out. These barbers dont are really bad dont come here plz. If you want to come have a world of pain for you. The barbers there suck they suck they are bad dont go the. I recommend black barber by the hood. Dont go here because there service sucks the snacks in the vending machine are stale. If you want bad service. Go here

The shop is roomy and open which makes it very comfortable. The barbers banter back and forth and keep a light atmosphere, and the haircut I got was great. This place is definitely a must for any guy, the barber knew what he was doing and gave me a mans haircut instead of the unisex buzz job you get at places like great clips. They take their time which is good for the cut, but its definitely not an in and out quickly place. The pricing was great as well, they charge about the same as great clips and the hair cuttery. Great service, good price, and an overall enjoyable experience for getting a hair cut.

Visited the shop about 45 min before closing. There was only 1 guy ahead of me. 3 barbers at work two males one female, the head barber was finishing up and so was the other guy. Long story short the head barber took so long to finish up his guy that the guy ahead of me got in the girls chair and finished. The other barber went home. I made it known I just needed a shape up. I waited there for an hour just ignored so I walked out. First time in the shop no one greeted me at all. The shop was empty. If I could give them a zero I would. They could have just told me I was too late. @$$_that place!

Unprofessional, I work 1.5 hours from where I live. I called the shop to ask what time they are open till and posted hours are 7Pm and to arrive prior to 7pm (which is understandable). I arrived at 6:20 and these guys shut the door, I knock and they just laugh in the background. They wasted my time. Very unprofessional. Whats sad is I just moved to the area and have been going to another shop for the past 9 years. Way to turn away potential long term clients. Look elsewhere these guys dont care about the customer.

Ive been getting my hair cut at Uptown Barbers for years-- ever since it opened. The location is extremely convenient and the crew is always friendly, professional, efficient, and precise. Im hard-pressed to name a personal favorite barber, but keep in mind that each one gears up to stride for perfection each and every time and will give you exactly what you ask for. I always leave looking sharp and extremely satisfied. If youre in this side of Apopka, Uptown is where you need to go if you want the best cut.

Went to this shop on a referral from a friend to get a cut from Scott. Went in with nothing really in mind for a style and gave him freedom to do what he thought would look good. I was very impressed and got a lot of compliments on his work. I had him line up my beard a few times too and it always looks great. The shop is set up well and I always feel welcome in there. Everyone is very friendly and personable and the prices are great too.

Andrea did a great job on my hair today! Highlights look amazing and her finishing is beautiful. I have a ton of hair and it is a big job (4 hours in the chair) she wasnt phased at all. I left feeling gorgeous! I will be back and I plan to tell everyone I know about her! Thanks so much Andrea!

Uptown Barbers is a great shop the barbers were very friendly and seen to take there job very seriously. The shop is nice and clean very spacious, Management was awesome, enjoyed my time there and my eyebrows never looked better I will be back.

This place was not a pleasant encounter. I walked in and nobody greeted me. I said hello and asked how long the wait was and nobody Acknowledge me. They knew I walked in. That was rude. So I left. I will not go back again.
