Just came from there and they suck... I told the guy to do my beard and blowout and 10 minutes into my cut one of his regulars came in and he started to rush, he left my lines a bit crooked which i had to home and fix myself, and he never shaved my neck with the blade so i had to go finish that as well its crazy i paid $27 for a haicut and gave the guy a $6 tip and still have to finish the job.... My barber in miami would have made me look like a movie star for the $20 he charges.... I wouldnt recommend this place at all and the complimentary beer is super cool but i didnt go there to drink i kindly rejected it thinking id get a good cut but i guess thats why they offer you a beer so u can look past the terrible job they did.... Im sorry i have to write a bad reveiw its just super unprofessional for someone to call themselves a barber and leave the job halfway done god bless and tip to you guys PRACTICE IS PERFECT and always treat a customer like they are a regular.. THATS HOW YOU GET MORE REGULARS!.... Just cuz the regular just walked in that DOES NOT MAKE THEM A PRIORITY OVER ANOTHER PAYING CUSTOMER..... This is not an angry reveiw i was just DISSAPOINTED....

Went in an hour before closing on a Saturday a few weeks ago, one person in the back was busy and there were 2 others in the front that werent. When I came in they nearly fought over NOT having to help me (not over who WOULD help me). SERIOUSLY .. dont let me make you get off your @ss and do something. God knows after my hair cut I wished I had not set foot in the place. Older guy with no personality cut my hair ... butchered it, never said two words to me the whole time either. No wonder the person in the back was the only busy one and the one others came in and asked for. But, poor customer service, bad attitudes and crappy hair cuts. Whoever the person was in the back who was busy... do yourself a favor and get a chair somewhere else.

I have been here several times and so far I have had great experiences. Ive always received a great cut and the employee are friendly. Most of them dont talk very much during the haircut, which I think is great, Im there for a cut and not for a therapist. Other people probably feel differently about that. However, the last time I was there the barber cut the sh** out of me behind my ear with the razor, it was bleeding pretty good but he did not say anything to me, I thought it was razor burn until I got home. However, Im still giving 5 stars because, despite the blood, it was probably the best cut Ive had yet, and it was in an obscure place and he probably didnt notice anyways.

I had Prestige recommended to me. The barber looked at the picture I had of what I wanted for less than a second. The end result was not even close to what I had shown him. I wasnt expecting perfection. But I think if he had actually taken any professional pride in his craft it would have been at least halfway there. A smaller complaint but one worth pointing out is that their advertisement mentions a complimentary beer which was never offered to me. Im just glad I was in and out fairly quickly. Now I just have to wait for my hair to grow back out some and go somewhere else to get it cut.

Very nice location. Although they looked nearly full on a Friday afternoon, we got in immediately as walk-ins. My 14 year old had his hair cut. He wanted something other than with the clippers we use at home, and not really a business cut. Renie quickly gave hi a very nice, slightly trendy cut, that will still meet his dads approval, smile. Im always nervous to try a new shop. Prestige had great reviews, and I was in the area, so I tried them. Walked in and was seated immediately by Dakota. She asked me what I wanted and started cutting. We all know that it is rare to get exactly what you want, but she nailed it! Im simple and want a great fade. Dakota pulled that off while keeping the right amount of small talk. I will travel to go there there again if in the area!

Best barber in Jax? Vonn... brought me from Mullet to Flat Top... I went from Achy-Breaky Heart to Howie Long. I am told by the other customers, you always have to make an appointment or be prepared to wait. There staff appear well qualified though and of course there is always the free beverage offer... Jen the owner is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and apparently Business Savvy! Congrats on my transformation, I will come back.

Been going to Prestige for about 2 years now, the staff is friendly and helpful. Typically Im a walk-in so there have been times where I have had to wait a little bit for a spot to open up, but they are always up front on the wait time, and if you have a specific barber you want they will let you know if they can squeeze you in between appointments. Eric does a awesome job, and is very detail oriented. I highly recommend him!

Just moved to Jacksonville and needed to find a new place to get a hair cut. Someone from work recommended The Prestige Barber Shop and after going i have to say this is the best hair cut place i have ever been to. I have moved many times in my life and never truly found a great place to get a hair cut. I have always settled for a place that just got the job done. Now i do not have to settle.

Im sure there is 1 or 2 talented barbers in there but when your asking to have a styled hair cut and beard trimmed and faded, show them a picture of what you want I expect to have that done with somebody who has experience or capable of that. Not sombody pretending they know what there doing so hopeful you know who your visiting there or your just rolling the dice for some armature job.

The haircuts and beard trims are fine, but having to leave work and show up at the barbershop just to schedule an appointment is beyond ridiculous. When I ask the fellow at the front if their phone is off the hook, I get a firm "yes." When I ask, "why?" Im told "no reason." To say that is ridiculous would be an understatement. Moreover, this isnt even the first time this has happened.
