The haircuts are great and the barbers do a great job. But I cannot go here anymore because the wait is over 2 hours no matter when you go. They say that they cannot take appointments, but it seems awfully convenient that the barbers "friends" seem to jump the line, or if your first to arrive, trust me, they have someone already ahead of you. Im glad that they are successful, but I have not been there for less than 2 and a half hours in the dozen times I have needed a cut. If you have a whole morning or afternoon to waste, then the place will work for you. But I was just there, and said I would take anyone, and they still said it would be around a two hour wait. Hopefully someone will read this and open a competitive barber shop, because business is too good to try not and steal some customers that are not the lucky few who get to have "appointments" or "cut the line". ---8.10.16 update, thank you for the quick response from the owner. Today, a friend of mine took her son to your shop this morning. She entered inside, 5 minutes before the shop opened. Only three barbers were there and all three had people in their chairs. She said no one else was waiting, and nobody went in as she waited for the shop to open. Why wasnt her son the first person to get a haircut if she was first there when it opened? Its your store, run it how you want, but dont deny the fact some people get special treatment. I have been there 30 minutes on a Saturday waiting to open, and was even there before Ben and Travis arrived. When they arrive, Ben told me one guy was ahead of me and Travis had three. Three?!? To anyone reading this in the general public, dont bother going early, because the barbers always will have someone ahead of you. So prepare to be there at least two hours.

Patrick Burke, Travis and Jason are probably some of the best barbers in the country. Pat has done a great job finding a great group of barbers that have great personalities that work together very well to make the barbershop a great place to just go hang out with a nice atmosphere. I knew it was a great place with professional barbers when I walked in on different occasions and NFL players were in there waiting for a cut along with regular D1 college athletes such as Alex Boone from Ohio State and Demonte Flannigan from Cleveland State University. I would just encourage you to call and make an appointment because so many people love to go here to a point where customers get there at 8 to wait for it to open at 9. They are very open to walk Ins though and will not reject you. I would encourage anyone to go here not only for the best haircut youll ever get but for a good experience and great conversation. #WPB. Also the salon does great hair too. My girlfriend goes to Kathleen Cyngier, a stylist at the west park salon, and she will not stop talking about her hair. All her friend go to her now and I can not go out with them as they talk about their hair the whole time. West Park just has overall good business. Love it!

Got my hair cut by someone who was perhaps a trainee. When I sat down, he turned the chair away from the mirror so I couldnt watch what he was doing. My anxiety was building as I could feel the scissors in his his inexperienced hands. I wanted to get up and run away. Half way through my cut, he put gel in my hair, flattened down my hair and started cutting the back. When I got home, I had to take scissors are fix the uneven sides - a big mess. Looks like the other barbers there were doing a good job. Its probably a good place to get your hair cut if you know the barber by name. For me, I can never go back for fear of getting that trainee again.

I recently began bringing my son here and the haircuts are by far the best hes ever had. However, the wait time is insane! Weve called to request a time and were told that they dont do appointments. So, we started showing up 30-40 minutes before they open only to find that people that arrive after us are being taken back first because they "requested the first spot." I guess if your buddies with the barbers you get to make appointments. As much as Id love to keep going here, 1.5 hours is a bit too long for a 5yo to wait for a haircut. = If they were consistent with their "first come first serve" policy, wed definitely recommend, though.

What a great feeling it is to have a barber you can trust. I love the fact that i dont have to worry about getting my hair screwed up!!! What a great bunch of guys to talk sports and life with, if they charged more i would pay it!!( i hope they dont read this!!)haha Never a long wait and always first class, i get my haircut twice a month so its kind of like a marriage that i havent regretted yet!!!Give it a shot and youll know what i mean!

Love this place but they got a new white dude that is God awful if u come in the back door he is first on the left he messed up a line up, he didnt even use a razor just clippers lines were different on both sides then lined up the back of my head iv been growing my hair out for 3 years and he decided to cut up into my hair my line up was an inch long like wtf like I said great place just will never go back now from 1 bad experience

Came in for a first time go--had Jason. He really went the distance, set up a great cut, beard trim, and razored in a nice edge on my face to make me more "purposeful beard" and less "probably hobo." ABSOLUTELY will be returning for more, once I begin looking like Doc Brown from Back to the Future had sex with an eyebrow again. Price-wise, also a reason to keep going back. Finally, you dont have to drop 50 bones on a trim.

Best barber shop in Cleveland Oh to get your haircut. Here at Westpark Barber Shop is where my son & I get our haircut. The guys here go from old school straight racer shave to modern hit haircuts. Also found their pricing is very fair for all the work they put into a cut. My son often gets designs on his head which are definitely a work of art. So come in and give these guys a chance, trust me you will come back again.

Out of town and needing a professionally trained barber. This shop knows their craft well. an excellent cut and shave for a business professional look. The only bad criticism I have to give is they pay little attention of their customer base and 90% of the time involved in socializing with the other barbers. You will basically be treated like a stump who walks in with 15 bucks to be carved anew and not much else.

Cant get a better cut. Only problem is that I cant seem to find a time when theres a lull in the wait - always at least a half hour, most times more. Ive tried to go other places when Im in a hurry but theyre never as good. Sometimes its worth waiting on quality and this is one of those times. Ill be trying the appointment-only place down the street next time around.
