Im really not one to complain or write bad reviews, but I did not have a great experience with this salon. I had put a deposit down to get bridal hair and makeup done for my wedding. When I went in for my trial, I left disappointed and decided to go another way. First, when I was getting my makeup done, the lady was drinking coffee and talking with other employees. She did not seem to be focused on me whatsoever. When she finished my makeup, I had to let the her know that the eyeliner was not even close to even. It looked sloppy. I honestly could have done a better job doing my makeup on my own. It did not look professional and that is what I was paying for. After my makeup trial, I went to have my hair trial. When I showed the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted, she replied that my hair was too thin and just wouldnt do that. I went ahead and decided to go through with it and let her do a rendition of the style I wanted. While doing my hair, she told me how she didnt like doing up-dos for prom which made me feel incredibly awkward because thats essentially what she was doing to my hair. Mid way through, she told me that the look could be achieved but I would need to get the extensions and bring them in myself. I was surprised that they did not offer to get these for me, seeing as they are the professionals and should know what they are looking for whereas I would not have a clue. Honestly, this may have been avoided if the stylist asked to see pictures of my hair prior to the trial and gotten the extensions ahead of time so we could try it out. When I decided to go another way, one of the first things the stylist asked for was for pictures of my face and hair as well as pictures of what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like for my wedding. Anyhow, my bridal shower was that afternoon and I had to fix my hair and makeup before hand. Im sorry to say, but I really dont recommend this salon to brides to be.

I have been seeing Stacey for my hair for AT LEAST 12 years and she does a fabulous job every time. During my time at VCS I have also had Tabitha do my hair, also. Both Stacey and Tabitha do great job as well and make sure their customers are comfortable with their look. I have recently started going to Megan for my nails. Megan is very personable and I enjoy seeing her. VCS is a great salon. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone go there for any service. The staff are friendly and make your experience comfortable and relaxing.

I recently moved to the area and was having a hard time finding a place I liked. It was my first time going here to get a haircut and highlights and I loved it. All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they made time there very enjoyable and relaxing. It was a great experience, I think I finally found my new regular salon!

I have been to VCS several times for various services including manicures, facials, and a massage. Every time I go, I always receive great service. Erica does a wonderful paraffin treatment and manicure and pedicure. Carrie and Shannon do great nail services too.

I have been getting my haircut here for years. I have curly hair and the devacut has changed my life. Mandy always does a great job and I get compliments on my curls all the time. Everyone at the salon has always been friendly and helpful.
