There are certain things people need to be made aware of about this establishment. 1. Employees who work at this center are not of good quality. 2. Children are not paid attention to on a regular basis. 3. Curriculum is not followed correctly and is in itself subpar. 4. Rules and regulations which are to ensure the safety of children are not enforced. 5. Current Administration is unreliable and cares more about financial profit then child care quality. 6. The administration would rather diss-enroll a student, then try to aid in their development. 7. Teachers will send children home "sick" when the child is not actually ill just to have an easier work-load. 8. The facility is not properly cleaned on a regular basis..i.e. I have walked into this center on many occassions and seen dirt and filth on the floors where children play, and the cafeteria area usually has not been cleaned or wiped down properly before the childrens arrival. 9. I have witnessed on almost a daily basis the unresponsiveness of teachers to childrens needs. The teachers show almost no concern for the childrens well-being. 10. Management seems to be unaware of the stress a child goes through in trying to adjust to a new teacher on a regular basis. The turn-over rate for teachers in this daycare seems to be very high. Nikou does not have the ability to maintain a good quality staff. Overall, I would summarize this center as follows: Nikou Learning Center does not live up to the standards they portray in their advertizement. Their facility is poorly run and can not and should not handle the care of children. The constant lack of good staffing and poor maintance has made this center into a place of unreliable service and childcare. This center should be only considered a last resort for parents seeking a daycare.

Beware of this daycare, it seems very nice and up to par until your child attends. I will agree with the first reviewer. 1) The quality of workers has been questionable 2) You take in items for your own child such as clothing and they help themselves and let other children have it and then send your child home in clothes of the opposite sex... 10 outfits within 1 month have just suddenly disappeared, even brand new outfits that he WORE to the center have gone missing. This goes for all possessions that go to the center (pacifiers, teething rings, socks, blankets, and diapers) 3) The daycare is always unsanitary. They allow kids who have purulent drainage coming from their sinuses and dripping off their face attend, even with a fever. They do not follow proper infection control guidelines and they dont keep their infant room sanitized. Another bad experience at a daycare I thought would be a huge difference in child care. They also have and continue to gain more infants than they can control. Overcrowded, and a breeding ground for infections and bacteria. I have tried multiple times to bring the missing articles to the attention of the director, bad staff and their attitudes/actions, and work with the center to maybe better things to an extent; however, it just doesnt seem possible. It is a no-brainer you dont use other childs belongings for other kids. If that concept isnt understood, then they deserve no stars.

My babies have been going here for a few months now, an so far so good!! My kids love it, my daughter who is 5 cries when she doesnt go. She attends half day kindergarten, so shes spends time at nikou in the morning an after 4 she returns. She lovesss Mrs. Molly ( the director) an all the teachers there. My 1yr old use to cry, but now he tells me bye an goes right to his classroom. I love the whole setup of the building also, the classrooms look more like a schools classroom I was so amazed when I walked in there! They also have a cafeteria, which I find so cute!! I was so scared to put my children in daycare bc of the horrible stories I heard. My 13 an 16yr NEVER went too daycare , bc I was scared. Now that my lil ones attend nikou, I must say Im very happy that I made the decision too send them bc I couldnt ask for a better school!

Our son has been enrolled here for over a year and we absolutely love this place! He has gone from the toddler room, to the three year old room and soon the four year old room. His teacher Ms. Pat is very attentive to him and we get a report EVERY day letting us know what the kids worked on and what to practice at home. For example, our son is four and can already say his abcs, months and colors in English and Spanish! Ms. Pat or any other teacher will usually have a story when I go to pick him up and you can tell these people want to see these children succeed and feel like winners.
