On July 10th my 9 year old pug Timmy was happily playing on the beach when he suddenly froze in a standing position. After carrying him back to the car and setting him on the grass he collapsed. We rushed him to the nearest vet which was Seaside Pet Clinic. I called when we were 4 miles away and told the receptionist that we had an emergency. She proceeded to tell me that there were no open appointments for the day and that shed have to refer me to the next vet which was 20 miles away. I told her that Timmy wasnt going to make it, his breathing was labored, I knew he was dying. She insisted that I go to the next vet. After some desperate pleading she let out a big sigh and said fine you can come and wait in the lobby maybe something will open up. I was livid! By the time we arrived at the clinic with Timmy he had taken his last breath. We rushed in with him, we were crying and pleaded that they take him right away. Kudos to the vet because he came out and took him (one star for the Veterinarian). He performed CPR but sadly our boy passed away. I know I am still very much grieving, but I have had time to process that day. I feel that had that receptionist been more compassionate, and proactive, she could have told the doctor we were on our way and let him know Timmys symptoms. Maybe, just maybe he would have been prepared to receive us and could have saved Timmys life. Id also like to point out that on Seasides web site it says, and I quote "Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable." Apparently the receptionist does not see it this way. The folks in the waiting area at the time that we rushed in with Timmy were completely understanding of our circumstance, as any pet parent would be, so I am positive we did not pose a problem. I just wanted the clinic and others to know of the horrible way the reception staff treated us at the time of our greatest need, her actions may have been what cost Timmy his precious life. Update to this review written almost 2 weeks ago. I sent an email, 2 actually, and posted on the Facebook page and messenger to Seaside regarding my complaint and as of this date 7-20-17, I have yet to receive any kind of reply, apology, explanation or anything. Second update. Its now been 5 weeks since I sent an email to this clinic and I still have not heard anything from them. I have sent a complaint to the BBB. On an interesting note, the Facebook page for this company was removed, or maybe Im blocked from seeing it!

Spent the night in seaside, and a cop ended up running our kitten over so we had taken him here for help, they said there wasnt much they could do, so we ended up having to put our Kitty down, but when we made the decision the Dr had picked him up and left the room and all he had said was "Ill be back" he ended up leaving the room to put our baby down, that right there seemed to be a little odd because when Ive had to put my last few babies down they always did it right in front of me, Ive always been able to say goodbye to my fur babies. But what set me off most was when we had gotten home and went to burry him we opened up the box to find our poor baby wrapped up in a PLASTIC GARBAGE BAG! that is so beyond disrespectful and foul, I was disgusted. Nor did they show any remorse of comfort when we made the decision, so with my experience Id never go back, nor would i recconmend anybody to take an animal here, theres another vet about 10 miles away from this one so if ya can, go there.

We recently had a member of our family in congestive heart failure. The nearest vet was seaside pet clinic, but in his moment of need they told us simply that they were booked up and coldly told us to take him someplace else for euthanasia. As our gentle giant suffered and our emotions raw we had to search for another vet. I am told that on this very same day a little dog got sick on the beach and they would not see him either, that dog died. Maybe these jerk-offs are reliable if you want to schedule grooming or an exam, but my advice is to not consider them youre ally in cases of emergency, they dont care about you or your furry family.

July 10 2017 our 12 year old Newf went into congestive heart failure and was dying. We are here on Vacation and called the closest vet which is Seaside Vet Clinic. In this emergency of our dog suffering and needing to be euthanized, they coldly told us to go find someone else because they were booked. I dont know how they sleep at night. Save yourself the pain and go to a real vet. One with compassion who cares for the companion first and foremost. DO NOT go to Seaside Vet Clinic if you care about your companion.

Staff were very rude. Would not see my very sick cat that wasnt going 2 the bathroom for days without half the payment when i took him in which was over $110.00. That was HALF just 2 walk inthe door. I took him somewhere else and it cost a whole lot. He is all better now NO THANKS TO THE SEASIDE PET CLINIC!!

Friendly staff, nice office. We were from out of town, and they happily let us come and get our newfoundland puppy weighed without pressure to become lifelong customers. If we lived here, wed definitely go back!
