for $40/mnth and a $40 annual "club enhancement fee" i expected a lot more. number 1: no squat rack. i dont care what anyone says, a smith machine is not a suitable alternative. smith machines should be banned. 2: limited benches. considering peoples facebook habits between sets, it means you will wait to use the only flat bench until gym-bro is done texting. 3: limited weights... only single pairs of dumbbells, so if someones got the weights you want, youre gonna wait or have to use something lighter/heavier. 4: snap fitness 24-7 is NOT open on sunday, except by appointment only, so forget about making it to the gym whenever you have time. 5: shoddy and limited equipment. benches with cracked and peeling covers and disgusting floor mats that look like they should have been replaced years ago. 6: staff has questionable fitness knowledge. overheard a conversation between a staff member and a client in which the staff member was confused as to why a certain muscle group was sore after doing a specific exercise. obviously not a personal trainer, or she would have known what muscles the given exercise works. 7: theres nothing you can do here that you cant do at Planet Fitness for one quarter the cost of membership. PF is open 24/7, staffed 24/7, and has enough equipment and space for you to come in and do your workout and get out. i do not recommend snap unless you literally have no other option.

I love this place, and Im there all the time. Its clean, and its got a pretty chill atmosphere. Its got a nice mix of folk in different stages of fitness. I was comfortable going there when I was still north of 300 lbs. It is open 24-7, but its not staffed 24-7. Getting in for your first time during staffed hours can be an issue, but once you get your access card it is fine.
