I had been looking for a quality barber(s) to handle my beard. I have been as far as Easton, Reading, and Allentown trying to find a quality and welcoming shop and have come up short for the last 4 years. As a recent transplant to the Stroudsburg area I put my feelers out hoping for something close to home. Brands was second or third on the search results and the image accompanying the result just caught my eye. I loved the look of the place. Very classically designed, like looking through a window to the 40s. Antique barber chairs, and just very open and warm atmosphere. I read the reviews attached to the search result and that sealed the deal. I called in hoping to get an appointment as soon as possible and Raul played phone tag with me over the course of that evening and following day to make sure I got in when I wanted with as little hassle as humanly possible (serious respect and appreciation for making it happen Raul). I showed up about an hour early and was informed that the appointment ahead of me was running late so I might have to wait a little longer than expected. So I went inside and took a seat. Raul and Dre introduced themselves and made sure I was comfortable in my wait (a nod to Dre at this point for taking point on comfort, in the middle of working on a customer and everything). My turn came up and Raul wanted me to break down exactly what I wanted. Once he had a game plan he went to work like a surgeon. Took his time and kept me watching to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. At the end of it all I couldnt have been happier and will do my best to get my bearded brothers to support this establishment. These two masters deserve it and genuinely care about what they do and the service they provide. 5 stars all the way gentleman. I have finally found a place i can respectfully call my go to parlor. Thanks guys.

These guys are the best. Brands is without a doubt, the best barbershop in the Poconos. The barbers have years of experience cutting hair, with one of the owners actually having cut hair literally around the world! Unlike some of the other barber shops in the area that seem to cater to and subsequently draw a questionable crowd, brands has no such similarities. The ambience is welcoming, friendly and relaxing. Most days they even have a guitarist playing for the customers! In addition to these positives, theres ample parking. Theyre located next to the dansbury depot, around the corner from frazettas. Dont waste your time by going elsewhere and running the risk of not only having your hair ruined, but also becoming irritated by the nonsense thats routinely seen and experienced at other shops.

Been getting my hair cut by Dre for years and he never disappoints with his work. He pays close attention to details which makes his cuts phenomenal. No matter the age range he does a fantastic job. I have also seen many of Rauls cuts and they look great as well. The environment is very welcoming and friendly. Recommend this place to everybody in the area.

Appointment only, but they were able to squeeze me in. Nice guys, cool shop, good music. I was cut by Raul and he gave me a great haircut, and my hair ist easy to cut. Took his time to make sure he got everything right.
