There are run-of-the-mill mom n pop barber shops and then theres this place. Kathys exacting attention to detail, customer service and tireless business ethic has this place running like a top. For a mens haircut, youre not going to find a better value in the area. A few dollars more and you can indulge in a hot towel shave -- a lost art in mens grooming. Aesthetically, the shop itself is a step back into earlier times when a barber shop was an EXPERIENCE. Adorned with antique relics of barbering past, you can tell the proprietor is well-absorbed in all facets of her craft. In terms of customer service, Kathy wont let you leave the chair until you are satisfied with what you see. I drive 15 miles out of my way to go to this barber shop. As long as its in business, I dont see myself going anywhere else.

Very professional friendly atmosphere. The haircuts at Lewisberry Barber Shop are 2nd to None. Kathys attention to detail is flawless. She will not let you leave that chair until everything is right! Do not go anywhere else for a haircut! I am a veteran of the United States Army and have gotten very good hair cuts just off post of the places where I was stationed, but they do not come close to a haircut from Kathy! Never knew their was such a thing as an invisible fade line until she cut my hair! Best haircut ever! Also their are days where Lewisberry Barber Shop has walk ins. Kathys student Derick is very good! Do not hesitate to sit in his chair also! Kathy taught him very well!

Lady advertises hot lather shaves and beard trimming on website and card mailer that was sent to my house. Went to shop on a friday morning, and after waiting over an hour, was denied service of something that she advertises and is on the list of services, because she was too busy. Really?!?! Horrible customer service, have never seen someone denied a service because they were too busy. Thats like going to a bar and asking for a rum and coke, and them telling you no because they are too busy. Horrible business ethnics, wont be suprised if she fails.

I was not very happy with the email i received after asking about a military discount, being called fugal minded for asking a simple question. I will NEVER go here for a hair cut. Never the less it might be a great place to get a hair cut and a nice shave, but disrespectful towards me because i asked if you about a military discount, considering i would be coming in every 2 weeks to get trimmed. but hey ill spend my money else where even if its more expensive.

Ive been getting my hair cut by Kathy for a couple years now, and shes a fantastic barber. She sincerely cares about her profession, and tries her hardest to give you a haircut exactly how you want it. Shes always willing to try new things, and cuts any style you want. A hot lather straight razor shave for your neck and sideburns are given after every haircut. Shell even wax your eyebrows if you want. I highly recommend it

I had my haircut at lewisberry barber shop yesterday and I must say I am very pleased with the service. There were a few other people in front of me but the wait wasnt long at all and totally worth it. She was very nice and knew exactly what she was doing...I got a great cut at an excellent price. I plan on going here for now on and recommend anyone in the area to give this place a try. Thanks :)

If youve only got 10 minutes for a cut, look elsewhere. Kathy will take her time with you in the chair and do the job right. If there happens to be someone in the chair before you, take a look in the fridge. Id recommend calling for an appointment. Shes spread out the scheduling a bit which definitely helps keep things on time. Why go anywhere else?

Excellent shop, very nice staff. No BS haircuts, no 15 minute quick cuts or pushy staff trying to get you to buy their (hair) product. Scheduling can be a bit tricky, but if you call ahead enough in advance, youre golden. HIGHLY recommend this place if you have the time.
