The bottom line is this: after posting our worst annual growth of any non-Recession year since we opened for business, we signed up for MailSharks Weekly Mailing Program. It had taken several months and two to three mailing cycles before we started to see a return. Then, literally overnight, we experienced a 20% jump in gross revenue. Once the flood of calls began, it was our job to keep the customers coming back. However, it was the Weekly Mailing Program that was directly responsible for the overwhelming majority of first-time callers. Our growth continued through 2016, our second year using MailShark, with our revenue increasing by six figures. We are now in our third year using the program, and we have decided to make it a part of our business model. As a general rule of thumb, a restaurant should expect to lose approximately 15% of its customer base every year. For sustained annual growth, a business owner must not only compensate for the turnover but must also continuously work to expand their customer base beyond what was lost from the previous year. MailShark is the perfect answer as they do all of the time-consuming heavy lifting that is necessary for mailing promotional material in 50 out of 52 weeks. The convenience of one-stop-shopping cannot be understated. There are four stages to the process, which are as follows: 1. Mailing Area & Strategy - You are provided with maps of the carrier routes in your surrounding along with pertinent demographic information of each route so that you can determine which areas to include or exclude in the mailings 2. Graphic Design - A surprisingly talented staff of graphics design professionals customize the item to be mailed to your specifications or based on existing artwork or, if you prefer, will create something entirely new 3. Printing - Once the design is approved for printing, the total number of pieces to be mailed in a cycle are all printed at the same time. So, no, changes cannot be made in week two of any given cycle. 4. Mailing - The printed material is grouped by the carrier routes selected in Stage 1 and mailed over a ten week period. The reason we are convinced of the MailShark effect is the fact that the only other form of promotion that we do is focused solely on hotels in our area. If anything, our hotel revenue stream has decreased slightly over the last two and a half years while our overall numbers have soared. You will need to demonstrate patience because building a brand takes time. Many customers will need to take note of the name of your business multiple times before they decide to give you a chance. Also, those who has dealt with direct mailing in any capacity knows this kind of service cannot come cheap, and it does not. However, sometimes you get what you pay for, and I do not believe there is a less expensive form of advertising that can generate the volume of first-time callers and repeat customers, nor replicate the sustained effectiveness of the Weekly Mailing Program. For this reason, we intend to continue our partnership with MailShark for the foreseeable future.

Im a small pizzeria owner and I started using Mail Shark a little over a year ago, starting with the box topper program. It definitely does work and its a system I like because I can change the coupons and designs month to month and promote new products or specials. Whatever excess toppers we have from the previous month we blow them out by putting one in each to go bag. The customers like the changing themes/templates that we match to seasons, sports, holidays and back to school. The print quality is exceptional which was my major concern before signing up as Ive seen quite a lot of crappy prints from other companies and with my brother owning a screen printing & embroidery company the quality had to be top notch if my logo was going on it. They also got my last print order for my menus and I will be ordering menus again in the next month or two from them. Prices are very good especially with the quality they put out, ended up saving me about $300 total on 10k pieces shipped from the prior company I used. I will also be starting the monthly mover program with them within the next month or two. I deal mainly with Allie Konnick over there. Very knowledgeable about their product lines and answering any questions I may have. Emails with any of the reps I have dealt with are always answered in a timely manner. Truly one of the last companies left that deliver exactly what they say they will with exceptional customer service.

Our pizza shop has been using Mail Shark for approximately 5 years. Overall, they have done a great job for us. Previously, one of the reps we had didnt seem to have the attention to detail that we wanted, but ever since they assigned us to a different rep, its been great. Unfortunately, they did make a mistake recently on one of our mailings, but upon being notified about it, they responded quickly and rectified the matter immediately, which we very much appreciated. The mailings have been very effective for us and seem to generate a good amount of new business. The customer service we are receiving at the present time (specifically, Allie and Janelle) is excellent. I would recommend Mail Shark to others who are hoping to increase their customer exposure and sales.

I would highly recommend Mail Shark to any business owner who is looking to grow their business. There are many mailing companies to choose from. I got a piece of theirs in the mail and saw their website address and thought I would check it out. It looked to good to be true with the weekly payments. That was the deciding factor for me. I recently bought a small restaurant and being able to have the mailing go out weekly and being able to pay weekly made all the difference to me. I was thrilled with their art and graphic departments. My Sales Manager, Steve Hail did such a great job of explaining and helping me. I have never given 5 stars to anyone until now. I will be using them again in the future.

Dnt waste your money with this company for advertising. They are totally fraud. They will give you different information over the phone and once you get stuck with them them they will tell you even if you have to cancel their service you have to pay for remaining week. Even though their sale rep told me you can cancel them any time and their printing is like every Thursday but when I call to cancel they said sale rep make a mistake you have to pay for remaining week. And I ask them ok give me the menu you print out and I will pay you. They deny to give me that too. And now they harassing me to take to court not even admitting that they provide me wrong information

I must give Mail Shark Five Stars. It is not only because of their best quality of their products but also their great service . We have been doing business with them since 2015 and we have had great success by using their direct menu mailing. I must give their support team 6 stars for being always supportive and willing to work around our busy schedule to review the products in order to be sent out for printing. This year we are planning not only to use their direct mailing but also take advantage of their box toppers to further increase the traffic for our business. we highly recommend Mail Shark to all small businesses.
