Horrible experience! I had an agent at red lion rd location recommend a resort in cancun, mexico called grand oasis sens. I was booking for my honeymoon. It was the worst experience of my life. Food was horrible, staff was horrible and rude, we woke up to no electricity or water a couple mornings for hours had no shower or water from the sink. Atm machine was down most of our stay. Theres no bars except a trashy strip club type bar downstairs. And the lobby at night because everything outside by the pool closes at 5. Then the worst was yet to come. We go to check out and they claim we broke a tv and were charging us $2300 for it. Now a) we didnt break a tv and b) in what universe does a tv cost $2300? It was Less than a 60 not sure what size. They held our luggage said we couldnt leave till bill was paid. Frightening and horrible experience! Then we get home and put a statement in through liberty travel and they didnt get back to me with any updates. So I called headquarters and they just now are letting me know that its a "legal matter between you and the hotel" and are not standing by their Reccomendation! I said your company sent us to this place and that happened and the place was horrible and your saying you wont make any type of refund to us. "No" This is absolutely ridiculous and ill be writing to everyone I have to including channel 6 to deal with this further! I refuse to just take it as a loss!! I also read on yelp that this place is under investigation and has people sueing them already for similar situations where people were scammed by the hotel for money! Liberty travel should be liable for sending us to a place that has this going on!
