I took several items to be dry cleaned at this establishment and had suspected they never dry cleaned them. After my current episode, I am almost sure of it. One item was a quilt and the other a dust ruffle. I had safety pins in the dust ruffle which I forgot to remove before the dry cleaning. Well, they were still in the same place when I removed the alleged dry cleaned dust ruffle from the plastic. Also, I never felt like the quilt was clean and eventually had to replace it. My next and last bad experience was taking a dress to be shortened (they will see my dust after this). I knew there was trouble ahead when the clerk said she would pin up the dress instead of the seamstress who was not there. The clerk claimed to be a skilled seamstress herself. What a bunch of baloney! When I picked up the dress, it was uneven and dragged on the floor. The seamstress and clerk both could not understand why a dress dragging on the ground which I coiuld trip on was unacceptable. How obtuse can you get? They were very obnoxious and refused to accept responsibility for their poor job. When I demanded that they redo their work, they reluctantly agreed. The problem with this joint is you have to pay up front and if they do a lousy job, you are out of luck and out your money! Unfortunately, I wasted my time and gasoline going back there to complain to try to get the dress fixed correctly. All they did was take my dress, agree to do additional alterations, but in reality, they just repackaged it back in the plastic. They did NOTHING to the dress. In the end, I did not PAY LESS! I will now have to pay DOUBLE to correct their shoddy work. The people working in this establishment are very EVIL and I never want to patronize them again. It will be my pleasure to do business elsewhere!

I dropped jackets to be cleaned on 6/22/12 at your Fairless Hills Branch on Lincoln Highway at 4 pm (Kitty) and the pickup date was 6/30/12. I thought this was a long period of time to wait for the jackets to be cleaned, although, the clerk indicted that their boilers were down in the back and I accepted her initial explanation. Ive stopped into the cleaners (5) times with my slip beginning 6/30/12 and they do not have my jackets. In addition, Ive called numerous times and the line is either busy, the phone rings continuously, no one picks up OR the person tells me to call back in 5 minutes. I have used Payless Cleaners in the past and had no problem. I believe they changed hands recently and now the their service is poor and my jackets are lost! Also, the last few times I stopped into Payless to pick up my jackets, a few other people were complaining that their dry cleaning was not ready for pick up and they also stopped in numerous times to get their dry cleaning. Any suggestions on what I can do to get my jackets back or compensation? Thank so much for your anticipated response.

The service at Payless Cleaners is exceptional. The cashiers are always kind and helpful. Sometimes, clothing comes back with stains still on it and they are happy to try again. They are STAINS, obviously you couldnt get them out, so give the workers a break. You cannot beat the price and the service is above average. Also, I have seen two year olds with better temperment, self control, and manners then many costumers who walk in. If you have a problem, refrain from making a scene and prehaps it will be resolved more quickly. Overall, I think Payless Cleaners if a fine establishment.

This is simply the finest dry cleaning establishment I have yet to attend. It is top-notch, and at such a low price! Who could ask for anything more? In response to the first review: maybe if your dress is so valuable and dear to your heart, you should clean it yourself instead of entrusting this apparently enormous responsibility to "rude clerks." Also, advice to current or prospective customers:NEVER BRING UNDERWEAR TO A DRY CLEANERS, ITS JUST NOT FAIR!!!

Professional inexpensive dry cleaning service. I am disappointed that I only now discovered this place. I have been waisting double some times triple the $1.99 rate for clothes that end up looking the same as when I get them cleaned from here. I take ALL my suits here from inexpensive New York in Company suits to to expensive Calvin Klein & Tahari suits. Dont listen to the negativity. Save your self some money!!!

HORRIBLE!!! I had dropped off a $300 silk flower girl dress to be cleaned. After getting it back it was completely DESTROYED!! The material is ripped in a few spots, it is frayed… they OBVIOUSLY DIDNT READ and UNDERSTAND that when I said SILK it was SILK!!! I have tried calling them for over 2 days and no one answers the phone. WORST WORST WORST CLEANERS!!!!!!!!!

Dont go there! Damaged many of my dress pants and shirts, always have valid excuse or perfect lie. I was patiently continuing using their service because prices are pretty good. I lost it when they ruined my brand new shirt and in return they offered me $10 and increased to $20 store credit.
