If I could give this location a lower rating I WOULD!! BEWARE, if you call to find out information, be prepared to hear several different answers. The employees dont know what they are talking about. I called to terminate my membership and was told I would be charged a fee if I cancelled before a certain month. I was in an open contract. The second time I called, I was told I could have canceled and when I explained what I was told previously the employee stated that no one there would have said that. When I asked for the managers name she informed me he was going to tell me the same thing. Im not sure which is worse. The lack of proper training or the poor communication. I have been denied a refund from the date I tried to cancel because evidently I should have read my contract instead of just relying on what I was told by an employee. I have not visited any other locations, but if the customer service is the same I dont see how they can stay in business. I even had the record of the call from my phone to offer as proof(since it was insinuated that I made the story up) and management still did not want to offer a reasonable solution. I would NEVER recommend this location and will tell everyone the frustrating experience I have had.

The management @ this location is horrible. Out of all the employees the I would say that 3 fit the bill for being friendly. I had a member complain that I wasnt using the circuit right. So Jack (mgr) came to me with mind already made up that he would revoke my privileges without hearing my side of the story. Two hours goes by before I can talk with corporate about the incident Jack has already revoked my membership . This seems personal ,especially since Ive turned down his advances to me. I wonder how corporate will handle this.If you go to this location b very careful because u might the next victim.

I started my Planet Fitness experience at the location in Greenville. I was anxiously awaiting the opening of the Simpsonville of location. I have been part of the Simpsonville Planet Fitness since opening day. Every visit has been great! I look forward to working out and going to see the AMAZING people there. If there was one thing I could say that could use attention, it would be the temperature in the Simpsonville Planet Fitness. At peak times, especially, it gets VERY HOT in there. But in no way, is that a negative that will stop me from going.

Be wary of contract. They will not let you transfer your membership to your spouse. Colby took a break while my wife and I were trying to fill out a new contract for her. Instead I walked out, cancelling my current membership. Sad part is that they just charged me the annual membership fee June 1st and the contract says to get a refund you must: Be Dead Physically unable to use facility (Doctor certified) Or move outside 50 miles of a facility. Just going to do my business elsewhere and be more careful about contract.

I love this place. Ive been a member for 6 months now. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Ive taken the opportunity to use their trainer, Daniel, on numerous occasions. He was of inestimable help to me; his routines are never boring b/c theyre never the same. He alone is worth the cost of the membership - more! - because the monthly fee is very low for all that you get. Plenty of machines and I like the 24/7 so I can go anytime, night or day.

I have tried to call these people 7 times now and they wont pick up. I am extremely angry as I called last month to cancel my membership and was told it was done. Then when I check my bank account today it says that it charged me two club fees ($40/ea), two membership fees ($10/ea) and my bank has now charged me an over draft fee of $30 for each charge. So, I now owe my bank $120 and planet fitness $100. All because someone couldnt do their job.

I have been to several locations. (Florence, Columbia, and Spartanburg) The staff at the front desk are very unfriendly in Simpsonville. Someone should know. Dont expect a warm welcome like other locations. Maybe a glance when u walk in the door and then they proceed with their convos. When u do ask a question they seem annoyed.

I give this a 3 out of 5 stars because planet fitness is all about not feeling "Gymtimidated" yet the gym in Simpsonville, SC on Harrison Bridge Rd allows some women to wear booty shorts showing their cheeks and sports bras (only) without a shirt. Some men wear string body builder tanks that show most of their chest.

Im local in Simpsonville and this is a great location for PF. Huge gym with friendly and helpful staff. Get a complete workout in 30 minutes. I joined before this location opened and Ive already been numerous times and had a great visit every time. I just hope they expand their parking lot a little more.

Its so big, no overcrowding! All the machines are clean and in good shape. Seems to be a lot of positive energy there. The Total body enhancement machine is state of the art. There are so many things about Planet Fitness just go there and take a tour!

Always clean. Great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of equipment and alot of room to move around without being shoulder to shoulder. Open alot more than other planet fitness locations I have been to. The best planet fitness I have been to!

When they say judgement free zone, they mean it. The staff is so kind and helpful, and its always clean. I pay $20 a month and I use the tanning beds and massage chairs every so often. The bulbs on the beds are awesome. This will be my gym forever.

It has three great circuit areas, one for abs and two different ones to give you a full body workout. The downfall is that they really should have made it bigger when they built it. I live near it and often bypass it to go to the Verdae plaza gym.

This is a great gym...its always clean and the staff is OUTSTANDING!! I am always greeted with a friendly smile. I always feel welcome and appreciated as their customer. The location is convenient...close to 385. Highly recommended! I

Leos Need Love, Too

This is my home gym! Always clean and well maintained. Can get crowded at times, especially in the beginning of the week. Cant beat the cost of membership for a solid workout. Not a lot of amenities, but youre there to workout, not hangout.

The new PF in simpsonville is beautiful! The only thing I think is a bad problem is that they offer a free personal trainer that seen to never be there and there are so many new people that look like they have no idea of what to do.
