Saturday was my senior prom. I booked a makeup appointment three months in advanced, excited to get my makeup done at my favorite store. A woman started working on my makeup(Tionna??) and about an hour later she showed me the final result... I was devastated. My foundation didnt match my skin tone, my makeup was blotchy and coming off my face, and my eye makeup looked like a toddler did it . I paid for it anyways and told her it was fine. My original plan was to just go home and fix it myself, seeing as my prom was in two hours. Instead, the other workers there (Laura, Mariah, Clyde, and another man who I cant remember his name) jumped in to save me. Mariah told me to go home and get dressed and come back. When I returned I had many people working on my face trying to get me out of there as soon as they could. Clyde removed my makeup. Dani helped calm me down after crying. Laura redid my entire face as fast as she could . All the Anastasia workers and Ulta workers were so sweet and understanding and caring. Even though I showed up to prom late and didnt get to take pictures with my family due to my makeup being done wrong the first time.... My makeup the second time around was flawless. Laura and Clyde and Dani and Mariah saved my day. But please please please do not let Tionna do makeup anymore. She doesnt know what shes doing...and without the Anastasia event going on I think I would have been stuck like that for my one and only prom. Thank you to the ulta staff for saving my day and making me look beautiful for my prom.

Not a good experience for going in my first time. Walked in there Sunday afternoon to try and get my eye brows done, girl at the brow bar told me the next available walk in slot was 12:00pm, which was far for me to wait 30 mins since I was a walkin in. She said the girl who was gonna be doing it had an appointment at 11:40 and would take me right after that one. So as I saw she was finishing up with that appointment I walked up closer to the brow bar. The girl looks at me and says "are you waiting or something?" I stated I was her next client for 12pm. She looked at me like I was crazy, and said "um no, I have an appointment at 12pm, the next available spot is not until 12:40pm" I told her that is not what the other girl just told me 30 mins ago! She said, "nothing I can do about it". This girl was totally not professional, and come to find out the "12pm appointment" was just a walk in and they forgot about me and never wrote my name down. I will not be going back to them if they dont even no know to read or write. Its a shame because I love ulta and the ladies who do the brow bar.

Had to get my hair and makeup done over at the Ulta Salon for a ball, but it did not turn out well..the hair stylist was horrible at her job and so did the so-called makeup artist whom I thought did not know what the hell she was doing with matching my foundation shade and putting on eyeliner and eyeshadow..the foundation was darker than my original skintone and the eyeshadow was a disaster..I had to come home and take it all out and do my own makeup by myself..the hairstylist that curled my hair made it look horrible, she didnt even shampoo it or anything, I also came home, washed my hair and flat iron it all over again..it was a mess overall..if your looking for a better hair stylist and makeup artist for a special event, i suggest scheduling an appointment at a real hair/beauty salon where people know what the hell they are doing..i did pay and left a tip which cost me a 100 bucks but that is the last I am ever having anything to do with the Ulta Salon...

Last Saturday I stopped in to see about purchasing new foundation. After many years of coloring my hair red.......I had grown it out and it was now grey. I knew I needed new foundation and other make up essentials. I was prepared to spend quite a bit of money that day. NOT ONE sales associate spoke to me. Yes I was in their presence while they were chatting with other ladies....not one person spoke. After spending about 30 minutes piddling around the make up area..... as I was about to leave, I thought..........Im gonna see if the check out ladies will even speak. Again, NOT A spoken word by any employee. Needless to say....money was spent at the Mall that day. Shame on Ulta ! You might sell great products but you do not have great service.

I spent quite a bit of time there today and thank goodness I knew what I needed. Those folks have no product knowledge. I also spent over $150 bucks and the girl that was at my cash register never offered my free gift with purchase nor did she offer to redeem any of the points I have accumulated. Thank goodness I produced my platinum member coupon I had. She acted like she was inconvenienced to deduct the percentage off. As I stood in line waiting to be checked out, I wondered how she was getting customers out as quickly as she was. Now I know...She wasnt fully doing her job.

I stood waiting for a bare mineral consult while the sales lady was with another women. I stood there a good 10 minutes while she advised the other lady. I know she saw me, as the space is not large. As soon as she got done, another women walked up and dont you know, the sales lady went straight to her. They spoke a minute and then walked away to another part of the store. I stood there dumb founded, knowing I am NOT invisible! I was so upset, I left behind the shampoo and conditioner I was going to purchase. I will never step foot inside that store again.

The store is lovely, but they really need more educated employees... I asked an employee if the store carried any duo fiber stippling brushes other than the one japonnesque brush I had seen, and she stared at me with a blank look. She asked ME what kind of brush that was! Then after me explaining the products you use with the brush she showed me fluffy powder brushes.... She seemed very aggravated with me because i did not want to purchase the brushes that she showed me...Very disappointed...

I never knew they carried high end guy stuff, but they do. I take my daughters in there all the time and we always get great customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they carry and they always go the extra mile for my daughters. The store manager Kristy even took the time to color match my little ladies and they had a great time being girly. Great store, great customer service, and great management makes for a top notch shopping experience.

The general manager was very rude and disrepectful to her employees, I was there getting my hair done, and over heard as she verbally attacked an individual in front of customers (they were hosting an event) I also witnessed a employee ask for her help and she quickly denied the request and stated " can you go away, Im like super busy right now", she was chatting with a group of people when this occured. I love ultra beauty, but I thought this was way out of context.
