This place is the best thing that ever happened to Rhea County!! Everything is homegrown, homemade, raised or grown locally. Most people dont EVEN know about it yet!! All office employees in the downtown area do!! We have eaten lunch there three times and dinner on Friday once! So fresh, delicious, nutritious and wonderful!! The owner, Sara and her staff are superb!! Brittany McClendon works the front desk with her charming personality! They really make everyone feel special! They make some side dishes that you can purchase in like pint and quarts. They have take home dinners also. Their cheeses are bought in Sweetwater from a dairy maker. They also sale the wonderful varieties of cheeses. Im sure you can special order any of your favourite cheeses from Sara. They are in the old Jacob Meyers location on the corner of Market and 2nd Street. I see elderly couples enjoying their early dinner there too!! Please be sure to go by and check this place out for yourself! I know you will be as impressed as we are!! They have to work so hard on all of their homemade salads and sauces they are only open for lunch between 11:00 - 2:30. And on Friday nights between 5 and 8. You can make reservations too. Oh I almost forgot the luscious deserts and did I mention the coffee?? Out of this world (and Im not a coffee drinker) lol!

I like that its in town thats great, but when I walked in i was like this looks like a nice little restaurant until i walked up and seen the prices of everything. When I seen that the prices was like $9.00 just for a BLT I was shocked and sick to my stomach on that being so high I left right away immediately. Its a nice looking small restaurant but is way too high for me. So if you have money to just spare or throw away then your good to go.

Cumberland café and market is a gem. Situated in the middle of a cute historic downtown, it has fresh food, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I got the Mediterranean chicken, which I would highly recommend, and enjoyed their unique grilled cornbread. Middle price range, 8-12 dollars for a good meal, which was a reasonable price for the quality of the food and the service. If I am ever in Dayton again I plan to go back.

Quaint cafe with delicious food. Pork loin, Mediterranean Chicken, Salmon Patties all good. I dont consider $8.95 to $10.95 too much for a great meal. I spend that at chick fil a.!If you want a cheap blt, go to huddle house.
