My husband and I were married on October 12th here in Nashville, TN. Being a bit of a "foodie" myself, I knew that we needed to put the catering at the top of our list of priorities. But also being conscious of our budget, we needed to find a company that would work with us to get what we wanted at a reasonable price. I cannot say ENOUGH amazing words about Chefs Market. From to start to finish, they not only provided incredible food, but incredible service. When my husband and I first went to the main location to sample the menu, we werent sure what to expect. It was the first "tasting" we had ever been to! Even though I dont have much experience to compare it to, I can confidently say that it was one of the greatest tastings I will probably ever have the pleasure of attending. They displayed the food beautifully, and more importantly, our tastebuds were extremely pleased. When we first approached Chefs Market, we told them that we wanted a "classy take on comfort food". This is exactly what they presented to us! From a mashed potato and macaroni and cheese bar to the some of the best brisket Ive ever tasted... They went above and beyond to make our menu a dream come true. After eliminating a couple of items here and there, the price came out to be extremely reasonable. And not once in the entire evening did I feel like we were lacking in the amount of food options we gave our guests. In fact, we were all stuffed. Most importantly, the wait staff associated with Chefs Market were some of the kindest and most helpful people we interacted with throughout the entire wedding experience. They were professional, constantly cleaned up and and made sure the meal was running smoothly, and they kept filling my wine glass the entire night. I dont think I even once started to make my way to the bar. If you are planning a wedding, event, or even just want to go eat a meal at their restaurant, dont hesitate! Chefs Market really goes above and beyond to make your day (and meal) as special as possible. Thank you, Chefs Market!

Dont get me wrong the food is excellent. I came here twice on my lunch with some coworkers. We only hav a hour lunch so time is limited but I chose the all u can eat bcuz I always want a little of everything. A free slice of cake is included. The 1st time we paid, the cashier cut us all slices (4 of us paid $24 each for our meal). We were allowed to take the cake to go. Last night a different person was at the register not only did she deny us cake she was very rude about it and still charged us the full $24. "Oh whoever was here last time isnt allowed to do that." Whatever, will not be going back. I paid for something I didnt get. They should be a lil more accommodating to people who are on a lunch break especially for what they charge and bcuz we frequent customers. I could go to red lobster for lunch for less that $25. + My wife cooks this good for free Lol

When I got off of the bus to eat with the rest of my 70 member football team I did not know what I was in for. I walked in and immediately felt at home with the homey craftsy store. I soon got in line and was stunned by the array of delicacies available on the buffet. Normally I dont expect 5 star food from a buffet but the salmon and pot roast soon let me know that this place was more than normal. Once I finished my overflowing plate of home cooked deliciousness I could do nothing but reminisces on the food I had just eaten. However the market cafe was not done with me, I had to go back for dessert. The white chocolate banana pudding was good when I first tasted it, but not super special. Then the flavor started escalating. The aftertaste left me wanting nothing else. Also, the service was great.

I work over in the Goodlettsville area. I used to LOVE to go to Chefs Market. The quality over the past year hasnt been what it used to be. The quality of food went down but not the prices. What surprised me even more is the health rating. It was in the lower 70s about a year ago. It was just updated and the score is worse. Its a 51! That is incredible. Needless to say, they got all of the money they will ever get from me again. I certainly expected more quality and higher health score for $14 a plate for lunch. Its a shame too because it used to be a great place to eat. Here is what I found Chefs Market 900 Conference Drive Date Inspected: 9/7/2010 Score: 51 Major Violations: * Several food items on hot line was not at proper temperature * Back door left opened * No hot water available

I had heard radio ads about this place, but they emphasized the carry out and catering aspects, not the ability to dine in. So, I didnt know you could. And even though they are in a shopping center, theyre still not easy to see from the street, especially if your vision isnt perfect. Good thing I found them, and I will find them again and again. Great food, ample portions, reasonably priced. Another review on this site says the price should be lowered. If you want blah food and cheap prices, go to (fill in your fast food fav here). If you want cute food and fawning, tip-vacumming service, go to West End. If you want great, well-cooked food, and stupendous, diet busting desserts, go here. Go soon and go often. You wont be disappointed.

Overpriced glorified Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrels food is better and less expensive. Plus, $2.29 for a soda is ridiculous. Its basically 100% profit. And dont bother complaining if your food is unsatisfactory. It falls on deaf ears. $16 for a half baked chicken green beans and carrots with a drink is ridiculous. However, they stay quite busy. So my review will fall on deaf ears. As long as they continue to stay busy, they have no reason to improve.

WORST CHOICE EVER MADE. We hired this cater company for a Baptism/ Birthday party. Some of the servers looked hangover. The food was cold. Impossible to contact them. They charged us without our authorization 4 months after the event when we thought we were already changed the same week of event as the contract said. Tried to talk with the owner, but he never called us back. Staff was very rude and will never reach you back. NEVER AGAIN. WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

Chefs Market carries a wide selection of entrees, sides, and desserts. Their food is great tasting and their employees serve with a smile. We were all pleasantly surprised with our meals and the service is excellent. Theyve been in business over thirteen years, and its obvious they know their stuff. Ill definitely go out of my way to stop here next time Im in town! * Dont pass up the cheesecake - seriously try it! * Price: About $10 per person and up

Ive been going to Chefs Market ever since I moved here about 4 years ago and their food just seems to get better and better every time I go there. Ive also had thier food at several catered events and the presentation, food quality, and professionalisim of their staff is unmatched. This is THE place to go for a side splittingly good lunch or dinner and the hottest caterer for weddings and events in Nashville!!! Thank you Chefs Market :-)
