We started at The Goddard School in November 2015 after being at another preschool. We have been very impressed and our son absolutely loves it. We like the educational background and experience of the teachers in the classroom. We like the consistency with the teachers in the classroom and the consistent schedule that is followed. Educational programs and projects designed for the classroom are very thorough and age appropriate; the classroom is set up to provide learning along with fun for the child. We love the feedback received through the Tadpole app relating what was learned during the day; this allows parents to continue with the theme and play/work with the child at night and weekends on things learned during the day/week. They also send pictures of your child during the day which is very comforting to a parent. We like that there is an owner onsite every day and that there are two directors and one assistant director at the school; this assures that someone is always available to answer any questions you may have and they all seem very knowledgeable about what is happening with your child. We like that the school acknowledges what is needed to get into the local magnet school and help prepare your child for the testing. We also like the indoor gym which has several fun things to play with. They have an outside play area with lots of fun activities, and it is fenced in for safety of the child. We cant say enough good things about The Goddard School!

Our family joined the Goddard family shortly after the Hendersonville location opened in May 2010. The best way to describe our experience would be to say that we were at ease from the start. Not only is Leisa attentive, welcoming and caring, she has also hired a staff with the same warm attitudes. All the teachers are knowledgeable, patient and attuned to your childs needs. Leisa also makes a conscious effort for the school to have a strong presence in Hendersonville, which of course teaches the children (and some parents) what it means to be a good citizen by being invested in the community you live in and serve. Honestly, the hardest thing weve ever had to experience at the Goddard School was leaving it when we moved across the country. Im now a stay at home mom with my little one and Im still amazed by all the things hes learned while at the Goddard School - he can explain how his digestive system works AND does a better "downward dog" yoga pose than I can! Did I mention that hes only 4? As you can probably tell by now, I can go on about all the positive experiences weve had with the Goddard School. Looking for someone to take care of your loved ones is a difficult and sometimes guilt-ridden decision. But when your child is in the care of the professionals at the Goddard School, you can rest easy in the knowledge that they are being loved and looked after by people who care.

We transferred our son here from another school down the street after having many difficulties with their admin at that particular school. We were 1 of 8 families that transferred from the school to The Goddard at the same time. This speaks volumes! As soon as we toured and spoke with the staff, we knew this was the place for our son. We knew that our son had a high leveling for learning and we were hoping to get him into Merrol Hyde Magnet School. Leisa knew what things they tested for and how to focus on them in a fun and creative way. The teachers are caring and the admin is kind and professional. Over 33% of all the kids who past the test for Merrol Hyde this year came from The Goddard... including our son! We are so happy! Our family has truly enjoyed The Goddard experience and hopefully when we have another child, that is where we will be going again. Thanks, Leisa, teachers, & staff. Well miss you guys after Kindergarten starts in August!

Our 2 yr old, has a bit of a developmental delay & has been in weekly PT & OT sessions since the age of 6 months old. We started The Goddard School in October 2015. He has been there now for 2 months and we have been able to reduce his PT & OT to once a month! His language has also EXPLODED! This is all thanks to The Goddard School and their fantastic staff that push your child to do more in a fun and loving environment. The first day of drop off, which usually means tears and a toddler clinging to your leg. NOPE. Our son gave me hugs and kisses, waved bye then went about playing with a truck just like he had been doing it forever. What an awesome feeling to know that your child is comfortable being without you. A BIG Thank you to The Goddard staff.

When first enrolling my child at Goddard I was very pleased, but the longer my child attends this school the more I am starting to question Goddard. Ive noticed a few times that when I go to pick up my child the directors are running around warning the teachers that a tour is coming, warning teachers to put on a fake smile. If I ever pick up off guard, the school is an absolute disaster. The classrooms are being over filled and my child has come home with many incident reports. The teachers, seem miserable. Im constantly hearing gossip at the school in the few minutes that I am there. The school is just starting to feel catty and fake to me. Im very disappointed. I thought this was a genuine school and they are not living up to their name.

We love this school because they love our kids! I admit I was a little hesitant at first because all of the "day schools" anymore can seem like little military academies where they stress structure and education, but forget these are kids who need to play and explore. Goddard is indeed structured and has a top notch curriculum, but they allow the kids to play, explore and grow in a way that feels natural, not forced. Its always hard to leave your infant in anyones care, but Mrs. Jo and Mrs. Tricia are amazing and my infant is amazing happy and well cared for. The price tag is not cheap, but would you really want discount childcare? You get what you pay for, and Goddard School has been worth every penny.

This school is amazing! Leisa and her staff are wonderful and caring and my son cant wait to go see his friends and learn. The outdoor classroom is awesome and we have to drag him away most days. If you are looking for top notch education and a wonderful loving environment for your child, I highly recommend the Goddard School. Thank you Leisa, Miss Kelly, Miss Ashley, and Miss Brittney for all you do for our family!

This is absolutely the best school around. The staff is professional and very friendly. My children are consistently engaged and are always excited to share their experiences with us. Daily updates allow us to keep track of our childrens progress, and helps to guide us on what we should be reinforcing at home. The facility is extremely clean and secure. We love The Goddard School!

Our child has been at the Goddard School in Hendersonville, TN since August 2015 and we couldnt be happier. The directors are responsive and flexible, the teachers genuinely care about each child, and the facility is beautiful. We love the daily photographs and reports. It makes it easy to stay connected with our child while we are at work.
