So after reading these reviews I have decided to write my feelings about ndc. First of all, I find it kind of odd that the names of the people writing negative reviews have the names of former employees that were let go mainly due to unprofessional behavior (but maybe its just a coincidence). Secondly there is complaints about the cost....this is a professional business thats offered to individuals by individuals who have spent their lives learning this artform. You are getting more than a lesson from some kid who took some square dance lessons for free at their grandmothers church. You a building relationships, friendships not to mention a private essentially fitness instructor. Ndc prides themselves on being the best at what they do in all aspects of the business. There is an old saying "you pay for what you get" if you want a single lesson from an amature for nothing then thats completely fine, but if your looking for happiness, professionalism, dedication and friendship than go to national dance clubs. I am not an employee, never have been, I am writing this review because I feel that NDC is not getting the credit they deserve.

I had registered for a free lesson a while back and had originally cancelled but a few months after I received a phone call asking if I still wished to use the lesson. So I came in and was greeted with nothing but smiling faces and took my first lesson. It was great they seemed really interested in why I wanted to dance and helped me decide what the different types of dances could help with what my goals were. I had a great time and purchased some more lessons from them, and I didnt have to really deal with any contracts or paperwork other then signing the receipt for the purchase. I am looking forward to coming back.

I wont lie I am an employee of NDC, I started working here recently. I got into ballroom dancing as a way to cross train for pairs figure skating, I have danced at various different schools and one of the things that set off NDC from others is that they make sure their staff is not only trained but continue their education. All and all the school tries to make everyone feel like they are part of a family be it an employee or a student. If you start dancing here it will quickly become like Cheers, and everyone will know your name.

If you are wanting to throw away your money then come here. My wife and I went to learn to ballroom dance and we spent more time on contracts and paperwork than dancing. We opted out of the program. It was going to cost us around $2,000 or more dollars for some private lessons!

Stay away from their instructor Chris. Hes juvenile, bigoted and nasty.
