PRIVATE PROFILE

VERY unprofessional, was on an assignment for only a week until i was terminated. During my training i made it VERY clear to my supervisor and trainer during week one (2 other employees in my class also missed a day during week one for a passing in their family that was discussed during the SAME class discussion but their assignment was NOT ended) that i had a family member that was very ill and expected to pass soon. I was told that there would be an exception for my absence, received a call to bring the family together for their last moments and requested ONE day off during the beginning of week 2. Was granted my day off by a supervisor and called my agency to notify them while still showing up to work and waiting on a final approval. Was given the green light by a supervisor and then called later by Wood to tell me my assignment had been terminated. Requested to speak with my trainer but was not granted any contact information, my agency ignored my phone calls, and my supervisor who approved me taking off ignored my calls as well. Left several unanswered voicemails and no calls were returned until HOURS later with very little to no help with my current situation. Was waiting on a return phone call for over 4 hours until they decided to call me shortly before closing time to let me know i had been terminated. Very unprofessional and will never do any assignments with this agency ever again.
