Worst Customer Service Experience EVER!!! I joined the Gym in Jan 2016, when they had a promotion going on with which I would get 300 LT bucks once I joined. I started using the facility and waited till 2 months and no LT bucks were ever put onto my account. So I followed up a couple of times with the representative who worked out the promotion. He said he will get towards getting them credited. Two more weeks pass, Nothing. So I asked him whats happening. This time I wanted something in written which I can track. So I got him to sign a form which they had requesting the customer Service manager there to credit the account with 300 LT Bucks. At this point in March I felt cheated so I stopped using the facility. Then in April I said I will end my membership. I followed the procedure and went to the facility, wrote a letter for terminating my membership and apparently I was charged for one extra month due to the terms. 3 weeks into this term The Customer Service Manager finally wakes up and send me an email saying she is sorry to see a membership being terminated and agrees to credit 300 LT bucks and She does it. After living through about 6 follow ups with the representatives asking for what they promised when I signed up, with their reaction which made me feel like I was making a big deal of just 300 LT bucks to something like I asked them to sign over their retirement account till finally going through the membership termination process, I felt the management there is just trying to get you to sign up with unusual promotions and hoping you would not follow up and forget. They clearly are not focused on customer Experience. If you are planning to join after reading this review I would do the following: - Get Everything in Writing right from the start if there were any promises made and by when they will be fulfilled. I did that later when I had done a few follow ups. - Read every line you are signing. We cannot just walk in and terminate a Membership. you need to go there in person and write a letter and pay an additional months fees. Finally, I liked the facility, it was good, but I feel its a package deal, if I just needed a gym any other gym could work. When you are ready to pay a premium you expect Great Customer Service which this facility Lacks.

Ive been a member for several years and never had this happened to me. I went to Zumba class and being that I have my older kids at home I kept my iPhone with me in class wrapped in a white towel not visible to others. As class begins 2 African American guys walk in dance around and leave. I, trusting that Lifetime had IDd the guys at the front door, thought nothing of it until the end of class when I go get my phone it was gone. Those two hoodlums stole my phone and several other members phones that night. I was robbed right in front of everyone in class!!! Come to find out these two thugs were not even members!! They walked right in stole members phones and walked right out and got away with it that easy. What makes me upset is that something like this happening in a gym like this where I am paying $150+ to be a member and anybody can just walk right in and take your stuff. This shouldve never happened, but Lifetime Employees let this happen due to their negligence. I tried to get a refund or get some kind of assistance with getting a new phone, but they refused, saying "we are not responsible for stolen items." However they are responsible for letting those hoodlums into the club that night. So they should be responsible. They couldnt even waive ONE month in membership fees to help me out. I spoke with the manager and all she said was sorry they couldnt do anything about it and she actually had the audacity to say "We were the victims too!" How was Lifetime even a victim? They suffered no financial loss due to this incident. I wrote Customer Service and several other corporate people and never got not even one response or apology. They could care less. This made me realize how selfish and greedy this company is and I will never ever refer anyone to join Lifetime Fitness again! They rake in millions every year and they cant even waive one months membership fee of $165 to help their longtime customer out? Pretty sad, shame on you Lifetime and lets see how long you last with this kind of work ethic. Only reason I am still there is for their classes but I wanted to spread the word of what kind of business this is. I will never see Lifetime Fitness the same again.

I have been member of Allen Lifetime for 7 months and everything is fine as long as its going and when you dont need any customer service. when i cancelled the membership, i got a mail from one of its associates and i have emailed twice but still no responses, thats bad the service is....they send mail to request us to not cancel and they dont even reply emails below is email send by me Dear Hailee, I have received your mail on monday and would like to discuss the reasons for cancellation. 1 - I took membership in December 2016 and during that time, I have paid extra amount to get around 150 LT bucks (Jill Lewis initiated) but i didnt get 150 - got only 50 in my account and right now i dont see that in my account. 2 - I have received email regarding free pilates session and after couple of emails i didnt get any response from Katlin Moon-Jones 3 - I have received a personal session as birthday gift in email and i saw Mark Adkins, as contact person and after 2 emails i didnt get any response. 4 - As i was paying around $100 and not regular to gym, all these experiences have made me thing that LT is about money 5 - when i approached an associate to cancel my service he tried to give me some options and then he said that if im going to use only Allen center it will reduce by $10 - i was surprised - this should be told at initiation by JILL but they want to get max amount from customers - so i was not told. Now Hailee if you are not regular to gym and paying $110 per month with unresponsive customer service, would you subsribe for any membership? My reviews about LT are going to be as mentioned above... ---- so be careful

The folks there are terrible. On the last day of 2016, the called me their so called special where I could sign up over the phone for no initiation fees (i had been talking to them for a week and did fall for this gimmick). They promised, i could go do a tour after I sign and if I dont like it I have 14 days to cancel with no charges. Within the first week, i went there and decided, it was a decent place, but not for me. I called them to cancel and they told me I have to personally go in to cancel. I could sign on the phone but have to go in person to cancel...... It does not stop there. I went in on the 6th day from the day i joined and canceled. I have the paperwork for it. A month later now, I still dont have my refund and they send me emails saying my membership fees are due. I tried to call them yesterday to figure out whats going on. They gave a run around all day saying " oh such and such has to look into it and will give you a call"... that was from 11Am to 5 PM. By this time I was really pissed and unloaded on the next person I talked to. They tell me they have no record of my cancellation and unless i ind the paperwork and send them, they cant cancel.... Told them either they had a bunch of untalented employees or they are just crooks and use fraudulent methods to get members . Anyway. Did find my receipt today and have send it to them. But still no response from them on my cancellation. I bet I will have to waste time again and go in person to deal with this... JUST STAY AWAY OR CHECK EVERYTHING A MILLION TIMES BEFORE YOU SIGN
