A 15 month engagement with a Bride and Groom that are workaholics and live 1,000 miles away...the ONLY person who can handle that is JEN SEALS of Pearl Events. After a disastrous phone interview with another coordinator in the Austin area fate brought Jen in to our lives and we could not have been more thrilled. The initial conversation left me feeling all warm and fuzzy and pretty much ready to leave my fiancé to marry Jen because anyone who can stay that organized is basically my soulmate (Id live in a Container Store if it were socially acceptable). My husband and i were only able to travel back to Texas twice before the wedding. Each weekend was maxed out with appointments, laughs, decisions and me generally going "Well, Jen, what do you think? Is that classy?" and Jen responding "Yes, Janet, youll be classy." Once I heard that I just left it in her hands because honestly, I dont know anything about planning a wedding anyway so its best to leave it to the professionals. Sep 26, 2015 - I am sitting in a room with my best friends just waiting. No one seems to be bothering me, there is no stress, everything is going according to plan, my family is one piece, my husbands family is still speaking to one another...and I have this thought...Is it supposed to be this easy? Bride advice that Id received was always about the stress, the pressure, the family feuds, the overwhelming desire to cut and run to the courthouse and grab the first flight to Mexico. Nope, not for me. My advice...hire Jen & Pearl Events. I spent my wedding day siping champagne as I laughed with the loves of my life waiting to marry the man of my dreams. A wedding planner can be your best and worst decision. It depends on who it is and Im lucky enough to realize that mine was professional, smart as a whip and generally just the best at her job. She got things done that I never knew about, problems never came close to touching me...NOTHING interuppted my big day. Oh and while this may seem like a one-sided review my husband WHOLE HEARTEDLY agrees with every word. Did I spend money on this? Absolutely. Would I spend double the amount knowing what it got me...PSHH PLEASE. ABSOLUTELY. The stress free, blissful, perfect wedding day that I enjoyed was worth every penny. The wedding day is over, my husband and I are newlyweds and yet there is Jen. Just checking to make sure it went well, there were no problems and "was there anything else she can help with." I mean honestly, she was done with her job but still cared enough to make sure that as Mr. & Mrs. we were just as content as when we had been the future Mr. & Mrs. Now THAT is classy.

Hiring a day-of-coordinator was the best money Ive ever spent IN MY LIFE! I got married at the LBJ Wildflower Center, which has very strict rules, and I never would have been able to pull off this wedding without Jessica Brightwell and Pearl Events. To be quite honest, I chose Pearl Events over the other two coordination service companies based on price. They were the most affordable, so I went with them. Before I even decided to go with Pearl Events, Jessica spent an hour talking to me about the wedding details. She was fully aware of all the challenges of having a wedding at the Wildflower Center, which was reassuring. I didnt have much contact with Jessica until a couple months before the wedding. She arranged the walkthrough with the caterer and drafted a floorplan, which she sent out to all the vendors. A couple weeks before the wedding, she confirmed all of the vendors and double-checked all the contracts to ensure I was getting what I paid for. She even noticed that I only purchased 12 centerpieces, when I was having 13 dinner tables (12 guest tables and a sweetheart table), so she suggested placing my bouquet at the sweetheart table. That was the plan all along - I guess I forgot to tell Jessica - but Im so glad she noticed this little detail. The day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. I didnt have to think about anything or do anything. Everything was on time, and if something went wrong, I sure didnt know about it. Pearl Events took care of EVERYTHING from setting up my decorations, to pinning the boutonnieres on the guys, and bringing the girls our bouquets. Immediately after the ceremony was over, she brought my husband and I our drink of choice, which she made sure to find out about the day before the wedding. She brought us both a plate of food and always kept our glasses full. The day was absolutely perfect, and I know I owe it all to Jessica and Pearl Events.

I cannot express in words the gratitude I have for Becky, Megan & the Pearl Events team, but I will try! From the moment we began working with Becky and Megan, my wedding planning process was a dream. Whether I needed advice on vendors, or guidance on destination wedding etiquette, or simply a second set of eyes when I second guessed my own decisions, they were there to assist with every detail. Their knowledge of the industry was way beyond my expectations and they truly made the whole experience seamless. Our wedding was far more breathtaking than I ever imagined. But it was Becky & Megans help the day of the wedding that really went above and beyond. From the moment I woke on my wedding day they were there to assist with any need I had. From scheduling of vendors, to timing of photography, to having appetizers and a glass of champagne waiting for us after the ceremony, every moment was impeccably planned. I got to enjoy every minute of the wedding day without the worry of where I needed to be or what I needed to be doing because Becky & Megan were right there with their clip boards in hand to lead the way. I cannot thank them enough for all of their dedication and help. It was their efforts that made my wedding the most perfect day imaginable and I cant begin to picture not having them by my side for the whole process.

We at Hacienda del Lago Wedding and Event Center were SO happy to work with Pearl Events (Katie Fingerhut - coordinator) on the Pharis/Blankenship wedding. We have heard so many positive reviews about Pearl and we were delighted to work with such a great operation. Katie exceeded all expectations. Admittedly, we at Hacienda del Lago (www.LakeTravisEvents) pay special attention to detail. We always have a staff of 3-4 for every wedding, just to ensure that all goes perfectly. Katie and her staff worked extremely hard and made sure that we all complemented each other. Nothing speaks better than the 5 star ratings we received from the bride and groom. Great teamwork!!!

Jackie Myers and her assistants kept our wedding and reception running perfectly and without a hitch! It was so nice not having to worry about anything on our wedding day. Everything was just the way wed wanted it, our guests had a great time, and we were happy as could be. She was not just responsive but proactive over email, and our personal meetings with her were pleasant and productive. We recommend her highly.

Becky is the bomb! She has been ever so helpful with the planning of my wedding. Always full of fresh and unique ideas. She goes above and beyond. Id recommend her (and Jessica) to anyone planning any type of party.
