I sent an email out to three agencies I believed would "get" me. It was long, created a sense of the possibility I would be challenging to work with, and was point blank about my market. I wrote it to scare a marketing agency, because the easily scared are not who I want to work with. Annie responded in less than 18 hours. Not only unafraid, but excited for the challenge. And it works because we both have the same philosophy about marketing: if it doesnt make you a little uncomfortable, it is no different than anyone elses marketing, so your results are going to suck. I am an innovator, marketing to a no-BS target market, I have to have someone screaming from the mountains with me that feels the same way. Annie et al are crazy, creative, exciting, full of life, and while they may make a stodgy technocrat nervous, they get results. If you are afraid of that feeling you get when leaning back in your chair where you are jjjuuuuuuussst about to fall over, but dont, you wont understand or appreciate what RCM can do for you. That thrill is what drives clients to your door and is where RCM will keep you hanging.

I love RCM!!!! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. I have worked with other companies before and frankly I always left disappointed and lighter in the pocket, with no business earned from their work. I started off knowing of RCM several years ago, we did some break-fix computer repairs for them and noticed then that they were different. When we released our previous advertising agency it was literally a matter of a couple days and I was officially an RCM client. I had a great intro meeting with Annie--I shared some info on our company and industry and provided her with a few of our leading competitors. She took it from there and prepared a slide deck that highlighted the pros and cons of both our web content along with that of our competitors. She also shared a lot of specific insight on how best to brand our name and position ourselves against the competition. Our company is bootstrapping with limited funding, and Annie--a true entrepreneur at heart--understands that; these intro meetings are absolutely zero pressure, but rest assured that if and when we do raise capital, there will be a line item in our budget for RCM.

Ive talked to lots of marketing companies but RCM was a very different experience. They do their research before meeting with you and are prepared with a plan of action when you walk in. I felt like Annie read my mind. The strategic analysis that took me years to formulated was recited to me without any information provided. If your looking for a typical boring marketing company, dont call these guys. If your looking for an outside the box, bold, forward thinking marketing firm, give them a call. You might have to wait a month to get a meeting but its well worth it.
